Deck Description

NOTE:

-All cards in the deck are now real, except the sideboard
-Please do not give advice saying I need another snapcaster mage. Sure, I had 2 in y previous decks, but now that I lost 1 (yeah I know, terrible moment), there's only 1 in the deck now. It still runs well, so no worries.
-Yes, this is another Nicol Bolas deck, although I've given the deck more purpose of a reanimator.
-THIS IS STANDARD!!!!!!!
-THIS IS STANDARD!!!!!!!
-THIS IS STANDARD!!!!!!!

So yeah, as previously mentioned, this is another Nicol Bolas deck. I'm going to be working on this deck for until a while or, at the very most, when Theros is released. Now after playtesting this deck against Tom Martell's "The Aristocrats" from Pro Tour Gatecrash on the MTGdeckbuilder, It didn't do that great. That deck was aggroing me to death. At first, I was worried I had no hope. I now noticed I need more reanimator targets besides Stormtide Leviathan and Nicol Bolas. Then there came something magical from my Mono-White Midrage. That card is Geist-Honored Monk.

-THIS IS STANDARD!!!!!!!

Geist-Honored Monk is a creature with an excellent ETB effect along with the possibility of it becoming an 8/8 (I have Lingering Souls and Arbor Elfs, good enough). I can Unburial Rites / Obzedat's Aid it to the battlefield and use it's effect to either stall or become a future win condition when Nicol Bolas comes out. You know, kind of ironic because I have 3 Lingering Souls and not 4 in here (I do have the 4th Lingering Souls, but I chose not to put it in here. Too much "fitting in the deck" reasons).

-THIS IS STANDARD!!!!!!!

So let's go over the typical stuff:

-This is Bolas Control still with all 5 colors and I'm now dedicated to it.
-HOLY CRAP LOOK AT THE MANA BASE!!!!!!!!! HOW DO I HAVE 8 FORESTS!?!?!?!? I kind of needed the green mana to cast y Farseeks / Grisly Salvages / Mulchs because without them, they're so hard to activate turn 2.
-THIS IS STANDARD!!!!!!!
-Stormtides are another win condition to deal my opponent a lot of damage every turn.
-You know the drill after that.
-Also, THIS IS STANDARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How to Play

Why is this section here?

Anyway, heres to Nicol Bolas and hopefully to this deck working in terms of handling standard. Expect another version of Bolas Control as for the next deck.

Hey!
Cool idea, i pretty much like it.

My only concern is, you can't get rid of cards from your hand. If you draw Bolas or Stormtide, you are forced to cast them from your hand. You could consider cards like Faithless Looting or Izzet charm :)

Or more desolate lighthouses? I do see potential in Faithless Looting, but I don't have that much red to play it in turn 1. Izzet Charm? Maybe.
