OK, so here I am falling in love with Bant. I'm trying to have a bunch of good cards put together to make some really cool Bant deck. Bant seems very interesting at the moment, and really, what can go wrong? Sure there are some cards that are fading away from Standard (ex. Thragtusk, which is why he's not in here; Geist of Saint Traft, Augur of Bolas; etc.) but it still seems fine with Angel of Serenity, Prime Speaker Zegana, Jace, Architect of Thought (which I just got 1 of today!), and more that might come out of Theros.Point is, trying to make Bant, still seems good.
Don't worry, this deck can have a win condition. It's pretty much Control shit and attack with shit. Pretty much it, but sadly there are problems such as not doing it fast enough. Therefore, it gets raped when facing off a deck like The Aristocrats and maybe other Midranges. The deck is more focused around beating an Aggro deck (just like all my other decks), with the 4 Supreme Verdicts and everything. so it may not work that well. I mean it works pretty decent, but I think it can do better. That's why I need YOU to comment, rate, and do whatever to help me on this deck. I have been trying to work on this deck on the MTGdeckbuilder.net, and I could use your help. Thanks~!

Midrange and Control are two very, very different things. One focuses on getting an armada of mediumly-large creatures, while the other focuses on locking down on your opponent, either killing him with small beatdown creatures or an epic combo. Bant is one of those funny combinations; many of the same cards in Bant Midrange are used in Bant Control, but once you start mixing the two, things start to choke each other, and the deck is all over the place. My advice? Keep to Bant Midrange because it has enough Control elements as it is, all with bigger creatures that you get out much faster than the Control deck can combo out. Overall, just stick to Midrange. Need a primer?http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=450107

Thanks, but what if I didn't want to use cards from the Innistrad Block because of them fading out? Would building a Bant Deck just suck now without Geist of Saint Traft and Thragtusk? Sure I have Sunpetal Grove and Hinterland Harbor in the deck but that's besides the point XD. What if I didn't want to use Innistrad cards?
There are plenty of alternative cards. I can see that you already have put together a deck that does what's intended, only using RTR and M14 cards. Good fixing nonetheless. However, I recommend that you take out the Sphinx's Revelation from this deck because it uses up the precious mana you can't lose in a Midranged deck.
That's also why Bant Hexproof/Auras has become so popular now, because it's a basic deck with good cards in both Modern and Standard.
Well taking out Sphinx's Revelation seems odd, but ok.
Also, is Angel of Serenity still a good choice for Bant Midrange, or is it to expensive?
Judging by the deck price, he could still possibly throw in one or two.
alright...
Instead of main-boarding Sphinx's Revelation, you should switch that with Selesnya Charm, since you have enough drawing off azorius charm if you need. Put the revelation in your sb
Oh Ok. That sounds like a good idea! Although that will be in the next Bant deck I'll make.
