You're right... Where do you think I could fit it in? I could see it replacing a comet storm or the altar. Or replacing figment altogether

I don't care about using most decks in tournaments. The large majority of my decks are for casual play.

My bad... I'm no good at keeping decks standard. I only go to pre-releases so I honestly don't care what set the cards from as long as it works.

im all for duel lands, just not the new ravnica ones. I'm not a fan of paying life in anyway unless i can make it up somewhere else. The original ravnica lands were great. Dual mana and you can bounce one to your hand, nice with landfall. In addition I love isolated chapel, but you get the most out of it with 4 or more basic lands.

adding white is a good idea because then you can add mycologist and twilight drover.
I wouldn't scrap this though, youve got a nice theme here.

This seems to be a really smartly built deck. I know this because I'm having trouble wrapping my head around it! One issue, in that last combo you mentioned, if you use snapcaster to flashback fact or fiction, it leaves the graveyard and is then exiled, so how do you plan to use psychatog to exile it from the graveyard? you can only exile the card once, you can't exile it twice at the same time.
Besides that I can see this working really well! I'm glad there are people out there who can plan out a deck like this, because I sure can't

I could see academy rector working well here. And it doesn't hurt to add a little more color to your land. You are really limiting yourself with only having forests and depending too much on birds of paradise and chromatic lantern. Birds of paradise can die, and you won't always get chromatic lantern quickly. Wooly thoctor is awesome because its a 5/4 for 3, not because it has some cool ability (it doesn't even have an ability). So the real gem there is actually paying for it. Add some more color to your mana or take it out for something like worldspine wurm. And since you are playing giants, Elvish Piper is perfect here. You are obviously a tree hugger and elvish piper is all green, win win.

Oh my word... 82 cards?? this must be whittled down! First, don't run with 4 gideons, 2 max unless you've got different versions of him for different reasons. Next, you've got court street denizen and champion of the parish for when creatures are entering, but you don't really have bounce or token cards here. I can't see them working to well. You've got a multitude of things to tap your opponents cards, and Gideon's Avenger for a big beefy creature. You can live without court street and champion, maybe keep 2 court street though. Next, youve got 32 land?!? 24 should suffice. That might have been a little error when you entered it, idk, but it should be fixed.

Verdant Force and Utopia mycon! Maybe consider some tiny populate card instead of all the "put a saproling on the field." Not against the instants though, nice deck. Love the addition of proliferate! Oh and add two more sporesower thalids, if you didn't notice already they put token on EVERY fungus you have, doubling the number of counters each upkeep. If you decide to put in a utopia mycon, you can splash in a deathspore thalid which is great for clearing the field.

I definitely would never see that coming! Accumulating tokens then, BAM! Illness in the ranks, all 20 tokens killed and the opponent is instantly dead when they thought they had the advantage! What this deck needs is some populate to get tokens faster and that one knight that gives two soldiers whenever it attacks... The name escapes me. And you might want to rethink your land. Isolated chapel only comes into play untapped if you control a plains or swamp. You've only got 1 of each so the chances of getting the most out of it are extremely limited. Get rid of all those stupid cards making you pay 2 life to have it enter untapped, they are useless here. Get more basic land instead.

Heres some tips from me!
I would argue that 22 land will suffice most of the time, but thats all opinion based so do what you want but dont stray below 20.
Figure out what you want out of the deck and pick a theme. Then evaluate every card and decide whether it ties into the theme or not. Whittle down until you have 60 cards that fit with the theme.
Combos are always best! If you find a good combo with 2 or more cards, keep it! Non-combo decks can win, but they are typically extremely straightforward and easy to predict. Combos keep your opponents guessing and gives you more options to adapt to gameplay.

Now i'm not saying you havn't done that, BUT its good for future decks. What I see here is pretty organized already. Lots of detain and tap to keep your opponents battlefield open for attack. This is a very well balanced deck. I agree with SatakOz though, get that azorious charm up in the deck! take out the trained caracel, sure its only 1 mana with lifelink, but this isn't an extremely early start deck. You've got enough 2 cost cards to start doing stuff turn 2. I must say this is a great deck for a starter!

So I'm seeing the thopter foundry/sword of the meek combo everywhere, so it must work, but I need a technical explanation. Can you still return sword of the meek to the battlefield and attach it since you sacrificed it at the same time the creature entered the battlefield?

Besides that I love this version of the combo! The other versions don't know what you can truly get out of it.

The biggest issue here is that you are probably gonna get mana screwed a lot. So many big creatures and you are playing with 21 land. That would work fine in most decks but in ur case I don't think it's enough. Get rid of the dryad militants and garuuk's packleaders, they aren't doing anything amazing for this deck and you could use the extra land. Also I could see mosswort bridge working in this deck. Check it out

I'm not seeing a rox faith mender here... That's a problem!! Also, you've got a ton of 1-use life gain cards here. Add some cloudshift and shake it up a bit. Token multipliers and healer of the pride go great together and if you get rox faith mender, it's twice the fun!! Just some possibilities.

The main problem here is how straightforward this deck is. Anyone can predict your moves and put them down with ease. Add more combos like the one I already mentioned. Keep your opponent guessing and give yourself some options if you get in a pickle!

Btw, Aviarry is a genius and you should listen to him/her!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a solid deck, I must say. It's slightly lacking in creatures though which is a problem. This deck needs a decent defense if your offense is coming from instants and sorcerys. Guttersnipe is PERFECT. Definitely keep all 4. Snap caster on the other hand is a bit more questionable. I don't think I would recommend having 4 of him, maybe 2 or less. Replaying your spells is nice, but with flashback it ends up exiled after the second use. Personally, I think you should look into panoptic mirror or echo Mage. Panoptic mirror lets you imprint an instant or sorcery for its mana cost and then copy it at your upkeep. Combine that with guttersnipe and you have great damage coming every upkeep. Echo Mage is a level up card that lets you copy the spell once in his second tier and twice in the third tier for just two island and a tap. Again, guttersnipe is boss here. In addition, echo Mage is an 2/5 at his final tier. Great for defense, which I already mentioned above, win win.

In other areas, I'm not a huge fan of the azorious charm. Lifelink is nice to have, but your deck isn't real creature heavy. And the creatures you do have are there for the ability rather than the stats. Draw a card? Meh. The last ability is nice to put down an attack AND it makes your opponent repay for the creature. The problem is it is only 1 creature, and your opponent could have an army. I would recommend playing with 2 instead of 4.

Detention sphere is great for getting rid of pesky cards that keep Tryna bring you down, but it's an enchantment. Unfortunately this deck does not allow for the searching of enchantments. Play with 2 and put in another pillar of flame. You want the best draw probability for damage cards like those as you can get.

If you don't like the idea of littering your graveyard with your spells, then look into archeomancer or charm breaker devils. Both would slide in fine in this deck. Archeomancer and cloudshift, perfect combo. And if you add echo Mage to copy cloudshift, even better. Charm breaker devils gets your card back from the dead every upkeep AND when you cast it gives your opponent a bit of a scare with the +4/0. Combine him with the lifeline from the azorious charm and double strike from Boros charm and you've almost got a life gain deck.

Hope my advice helps at all!!!! This is a unique deck and you did an excellent job with the base work!!

Might I suggest a verdant force? It's always seemed like a necessity in a fungus deck

This is a really solid deck. 1 thing I might suggest is replacing 2 of the laboratory maniacs with an archmage ascension and possibly another card allowing you to draw cards for various purposes. Laboratory maniac is only a 2/2 and his forte is in his ability. You don't really need 4 of them. Archmage ascension lets you search your library for a card instead of draw a card off the top. This is great when the game isn't going your way or jace is hiding from you. 1 issue is that archmage ascension requires drawing two cards a turn for 6 turns to be effective. If you twist the deck a bit and add more cards letting you draw things, such as alchemist's apprentice, you can make archmage ascension really effective and mill yourself quicker.

I don't consider myself an experienced magic player at all, but these are just my thoughts. Like I said before, this is a solid deck and I could see it winning a lot. Hope anything I said helps at all
