counter, pacify and generally piss off your opponent then take control of their creatures with 'mind control' when you get sick of toying around with your opponent kill their library with archive trap and jace. or you can potentially have a 4th turn unblockable inkwell leviathan on the board with master transmuter and spreading seas, inkwell leviathan also has shroud so the game should be over in a couple of turns after he hits the board. counter activated abilities with voidmage husher.

Roil Elemental would be a nice critter to toss in this deck, and as far as creature control there is Mind Control

Howz about Control Magic instead of Mind Control. As long as it isn't standard... Maybe Mana Leak instead of Cancel? It works well early game and it looks like you need some early game protection.
