This is a Turbo Fog deck that I didn't create but am just posting so I can remember it.
This is from the post: (TheChosen1)
Trying out Chalice off the side for control, and Tamiyo over Jace. Chalice provides a non-mill win condition against decks that can't race 10 life gain between turn 1 Elixir, turn 2 activation, turn 3 Chalice, and could help out in other spots. Tamiyo shuts off Hellrider and Shrine, and helps tap down anything else problematic (Sun Titan or Birthing Pod, for instance).
Dropped O-Ring entirely as any enchantment hate will be coming in for game 2, and anything I O-Ring is probably too much of a problem to subject myself to a second time. Beast Within gets the trump there.
Feeling of Dread stalls early aggro, and that's pretty much it. The card does everything I ask of it, and I have modest expectations. A slight upgrade over Frost Breath, if nothing else, as it lets you Ponder on turn 3 or Rites on turn 5 with some protection.
I'm going to come out and say it: Elixir is better than Archangel's Light here, and anywhere else. I know big, splashy mythics are kewl and all, but Elixir is actually relevant, and constantly so. Elixir gains 5 life by turn 2 regularly, lets you dodge graveyard removal and Surgical Extraction, and counters Hellrider's first swing with ease. The last, big factor in playing Elixir, is that it has great synergy with Ponder. Having options is great, but at times you really just don't need the Clinging Mists and Fog you saw when you resolved Ponder, even though the third card (Otherworld Atlas) looked great. Having Elixir down means you can Ponder, draw Atlas, then shuffle the fog back down into your library. It's a redundant effect that functions every bit as well as Increasing Confusion for 2 after a bad Ponder, and helps provide options you did not have otherwise.
I'm actually still a fan of 2 Mind Unbound in the maindeck, but I did find myself siding one out as I couldn't afford to remove anything else in the moment, so I went to the singleton. Every time it stuck, I've won (and no, that's not an exaggeration).
