so you are saying you would rather have a 2/1 that gains you four life instead of a Divination that gains you four(survival cache)? Divination has made it into top 8's... Lone Missionary hasn't.

Just because he is a 4/4 doesn't make him unblockable. I can have a 6/6 flyer with lifelink by turn three. Actually I can have two. (look at my most recent lifegain deck for more info).

Lone missionary is okay. It can really help you ramp up to ascendent and is a good chump blocker. Lone Missionary can also work real well with sun titan just like wall of omens. You have to remember that playing four of a card helps you get it better. I would also like to point out that I like soul warden better because you can play it first turn and it is a creature that can be used to block in a serious situation. Also, which would you rather use sun Titan to grab, wall of omens, an incredible blocker and a draw spell, or an artifact that sits there and hopes you play white spells? I used my deck at a local FNM last week and got second place. I wish you good luck if you ever build this deck. I might consider putting lone missionary in my deck.

First, I would like to thank you for commenting on my deck. At the top you said you wish you could own this. Take out the two baneslayers for a 60 card deck and make a few pricy trades for sun Titans, Transcendent masters and ajanis. I would also take out the angels feather and replace it with four wall of omens if possible. I really would only play the angels feather against another white deck.

If you are gonna stall try some wall of frosts. I also don't see how aura gnarled is that good in your deck.

I don't have one either and would love one in my life gain deck. Would you please comment on it?

Look at my superlifegain deck please. Also, to keep your deck in standard, replace Beacon of immortality with Rest for the Weary. It will allow you to gain 30 life for your ascendents by turn 3 with kabira crossroads (as shown on my deck description). I also would recommend survival cache.

Momentous Fall is what i have for drawing cards instead of sign in blood.
Maelstrom Pulse is a great suggestion, I think I will take out two Consuming vapors for two and then sideboard two more.
Oran-rief is good, but really only great in mono green
Quest for the gravelord would be good, it is just that it would be a good target for Necrrotic Plague once my opponent uses it.
i was thinking of splashing red but i think the deck could handle without sprouting.
Ooze garden is a good card for this deck, i will have to think about it.

thanks for commenting : )

I was thinking of building a similar deck and you have given me some ideas, but there are some things you missed. Path to exile and Brave the elements/Emerge unscathed. With brave or emerge you could day of judgement without having your ANY (including knight exemplar) of your knights die. path is just amazing against all standard decks right now with vengevine and bloodghast plus it works really well with Knight of the white orchard.
take out 3 gorgon flails and one honor of the pure for 4 paths
take out 2 Oring and sideboard them 1 armored ascension and 1 Day OJ for four brave the elements. That way your opponents cant remove your creatures.

I found a spot to put claws in. I like it even early in the game so that against burn decks you have no trouble against ball lightning. It also works really well with panic attack too.

Panic attack allows your goblins to get around giant 4/4's while wrap in flames can only hurt it. Tuktuk is in my sideboard for decks that slow the game down.

I use those against burn decks which have become surprisingly popular all of the sudden. Prevents ball lightning and Lightning elemental plus is just a good card all around.

Don't listen to this dudes last comment. Trust me when i say that Hedron Crabs = One of the best cards in a standard mill deck. Sea gate lore is ok but i would hat to have him bolted after spending five mana on him; that is why i prefer Umara Raptor, because after a turn or two it can take a hit.

1. Take out Bala Ged Thief and out in Agadeem Occulist. It comes out a turn earlier and whatever your opponent mills you can take.

2. Take out either Hada Freeblade or Ondu Cleric for Kazanduu Blademaster. If it were really up to me, i would take out white altogether, you only have eight white cards. If you do take out white, then put in either Lich lord of Unx, Traumatize, Keening Stone, Cancel/Negate, Clone/Rite of Replication (preferably rite of replication) or Archive Trap.

3. If you are going to have Hedron Crab then try to put some Fetch lands in your deck. If you can't afford fetch lands then Teramorphic Expanse will do.

4. Personally if you like to draw, take out seagate loremaster for Hive Mine or See Beyond. If you want him to be an ally, go for Umara Raptor which has flying.

Wow, never thought of that. Check out my deck called "Devastating Kiln". It uses the same idea as yours, and the other turn three win condition that i mentioned before. I gave you credit for your turn three combo. Tell me what you think. Also, I was talking about playing AGAINST a burn deck. if they have a few lightning bolts or searing blazes in their hand you could still lose either your Geopede or Kiln Fiend on turn three or two. Altogether though, I love this idea and will be trying it mixed with the Devastating Summons combo on Friday.

I am very impressed with this deck. There is only one other type of deck that i know of that can win on turn three. I agree with Cupdog on switching the swerve for Negate. The only thing that you will have to watch out for is Burn decks. If they go first and if they have three mana open with one lightning bolt in their hand you still can't spell pierce it on turn three. I would also try to slip in something to help you draw more cards even though you have the ponders, the more you draw the merrier. I also like how this deck only has 4 rares. I will try this out sometime.
