Deck Description

Centers around milling your opponent's deck.

Alluring Siren, Tidehollow Strix, Fatesticher, Sleep, Royal Assassin and Wall of Frost help with defense.
Your offense is Mind Funeral, Nemesis of Reason (although he helps with defense too), Traumatize and Haunting Echoes.

The kicker is hitting with Traumatize (turn 5) followed up by Haunting Echoes (turn 6).

Things included in the sideboard help you if the opponent does not run many creatures and plays more spells.

I would love to, but it's not type two. maybe in the new set they'll beef up blue some, since it seems to have gotten the shaft in M10

Grindclock, when used right, can make tome scour look like a bad cantrip. Another great card for any mill strategy is Memory Erosion; multiple copies in play makes your opponents' libraries leak into their graveyard quite fast depending on how much they rely on casting spells. Kills burn decks dead.

Also consider Jace's Erasure in conjunction with Howling Mine or Temple Bell; their library will go at rougly twice the speed of yours. This can make a big difference in those long games favored by blue decks.
