Plus if I indeed wanted to run that combo, I would use noxious revival instead of grasp of phantoms. It's so much cheaper and it doesn't need to have rebound (honestly I will probably never play a card with rebound 8).

Interesting idea...but I don't really have room to put in any more cards. And if I side boarded it, what would I take out of the main deck?

And Snapcaster Mage is pretty ineffective...seeing as the only instant/sorcery you could give flashback to would be rampant growth.

If you remove him, you can remove the glacial fortress too...

What use is Venser in a self-mill deck?

Because it's the [main] win condition, you want to ensure that you get it regularly. And it doesn't ruin the self-mill, just requires that you use Mirror-Mad's ability more than once. Chances are that the other self-mill cards (Armored Skaab, Mindshrieker, Ghoulcaller's Bell) will end up milling a couple copies of Mirror-Mad anyways.

that makes sense. now I'm thinking it would probably be a good idea to run 4 ponder instead of just 2. i was thinking about taking out 2 summoner's bane? or 1 summoner's bane and 1 redirect?

I think gitaxian probe may prove to be more useful than the preordain. Thoughts?

Here's another standard goblin deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=209570

It also heavily utilizies goblin grenades.

I definitely agree with chubby myr. You might also consider adding geth bothe because your deck has so few creatures and because you'll probably end up putting quite a few of their nest cratures into the graveyard. Creatures aside, if you have room the card haunting echoes might work well (in conjunction with despise, horrifying revelation, inquisition to kozilek, and even sheoldred. surgical extraction and memoricide basically already do the same thing). If you add haunting echoes, though, forget about geth.
