Deck Description

Originally this deck was a revised Sultai Schemers deck, with heavy modifications. I never made a deck based off of the graveyard, and I thought the original concept of exiling cards, all for the sake of powering up one card (Rakshasa Vizier), was incredibly useless. So I kept some of the self-milling cards from the original starter deck, added some resurrection cards and power-houses, and came out with this.

Please note that this deck is STILL BEING TESTED. I am currently trying to bring it down to 60, while keeping the general theme of the deck. That being said, any criticism is not only appreciated, but necessary. Thank you for your time, and enjoy!

How to Play

So this deck revolves around several concepts, but they all revolve around the same ideas: put cards in my own graveyard, and take advantage of them being in there.

There are four concepts in this deck:
Scavenging Discarded Creatures for Counters
Resurrection of Powerful Creatures
Using Counters as Power-Ups
Duplicating Said Counters

Early game, my objective is to start self milling. Using spells like Scout the Borders, Taigam's Scheming, and Tracker's Instincts, I can start milling myself and add to my graveyard. If anything I need gets thrown in there, I can use spells like Sudden Reclamation and Treasured Find to bring them back into my hand or library. Then come the counters.

Using a combination of Varolz, the Scarstripped, Corpsejack Menace, and Vorel of the Hull Clade, I can exile any creature from my graveyard to make a simple 1/1 creature into a 5/5, and make it double its counters each turn. Add that to Mer-Ek Nightblade and Longshot Squad, and any creatures that I have with a +1/+1 counter on it instantly gets reach and death touch. And after all of that comes my power creatures.

My favorite combo so far is Grave Titan + Progenitor Mimic. With Grave Titan's token spawning ability, when it ENTERS the battlefield, lets me bring out three creatures each turn, one with deathtouch. Last combo of mine is Sekki, Season's Guide + Corpsejack Menace. With at least one Corpsejack on the field, you can have a creature that is 16/16, with the ability to spawn Spirit Tokens everytime it is hit.

...Did I mention that I have Deadbridge Chant in this deck?

Deck discussion for NDAG Deck {VINTAGE}

I'd love to help you streamline this deck, but the biggest problem I'm seeing is that there's too many combos, leaving little space to streamline. If you could lower the number of combos, I could help with the streamlining.
