I know this isn't what you probably want, but adding a Pemmin's Aura will allow you to go infinite with the Channeler. :)

look i would replace the taunting elf by -if you want vintage= that elve that has trample it's a 1/1 ? - and if you want better the sylhana ledgewalker (can't be the target of opponent spells and can't be blocked by nonflyers) i would pt is some berserk but it's expensive
o and the new elves are huuuuuuuge
Primitive Etchings would be a good card for this deck and replace Fog or Moment's Peace in you sideboard with Tangle. Also you could use Garruk Wildspeaker or Overrun for the late game. Check out my Elvish control deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=24579
Good deck,I think u should put tangle in your side board too >.>
ambush commander kicks ass in elf decks. i think that came out in scourge...
I like it the only thing that might be worth adding in my opinion is coat of arms, its kinda pricy but works well with the elf theme. However it works on other creatures too, say your opponent plays goblins etc. it gives the boost to them as well, but overall i like it a lot.
This was my onslaught block elf deck--so much fun. I respect you wanting to keep it vintage, but if you ever want to see some great combos these cards do with later cards, check out my deck here; http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=103549 The best one is Mercy Killing when you're playing with Onslaught block elves, since so many of those elves had "elves in play" abilities.
