Hey guys, my 1st post on here so any feedback &/or suggestions is appreciated! This deck is based around abusing Hardened Scales & Outlast to pump up creatures & sustaining with life gain & tough early creatures.
Early Hardened Scales into Ajani's pridemate is very strong once you start putting down a couple of dual lands & pumping +2/+2 every turn. Disowned ancestor can hold of some very early aggro aswel as having outlast. Falconer & battle-priest* provide more double-outlast potential & give some useful life gain sustain & flying evasion to your attack & defence. Ajani steadfast really shines in this deck if he can get out early enough. Abzan charm gives you some options in removal, card draw & +2/+2 on 2 creatures. Stab wound is nice to turn threats back onto the enemy & buy you some time until the you have something big enough to poke through for the win. Duneblast is a last resort to get around something hideous like a hornet queen or a big rabble & leaves you rhino or armament free to push through for the win. The mana base is slow but honestly i dont think it harms the deck too much as the life gain is there in abundance & any major threats can easily be dealt with by the array of removal / answers in the deck.Siege Rhino & Ajani Steadfast are the only really pricey 'ish' cards in the deck & I'm sure there are suitable other cards you could put in their place to keep this a competitive & fun deck on a budget.Again I'd really like to hear any suggestions you guys have to improve this deck for standard or even to remodel it for modern.*I took out the battle priests & replaced them with Tuskguard captains, its cheaper, faster & let's you put more damage through for the win at the cost of some mid to late game sustain.

I like this build a lot! I would suggest swapping out a few of the battle priests for an ivorytusk fortress or two, and maybe an extra utter end
