A tribute deck to birds for fun.
Cast cheap bird creatures who call for more cheap bird creatures. Then you will have lots of flying 1/1 birds which can die fairly easy. But with Soulcatcher on the battlefield it is nice if they die. It just makes the remaining birds bigger.Cards;Soulcatcher's Aerie: Most important card. The reason for this deck. Moat: Just the perfect card for this deck since all we have flying creatures it doesn't efffect us all but for some decks it totally destroys the hope of winning this round.Azorious Keyrune: The biggest problem with these creature type based decks is mass removal. With just 1 Wrath of God/Rain of Fire/Supreme Verdict you lost everything. With Soulcatcher on the field Azorious Keyrune is the answer. After a mass removal you must have 5 - 6 counters on Soulcatcher. If you activate keyrune you can still continue to swing for 7 or 8 flying damage just the next turn. Also sometimes fixes your mana base.Enlightened Tutor: For finding the Soulcatcher, Moat, Keyrune or Swords.Leyline of Sanctity: For some combo decks that needs to target you to win or for protection from discards decks.Hindering Light: If opponent has acces to enchantment removal, without soulcatcher you will find it very hard to win with just 1/1's. So you must protect it.Aven Mindcensor: Again some trouble against combo decks.Note: If you change Moats with Magus of Moats it will reduce the total cost dramatically.
