Sry for the bad news, but MTG banned Bloodbraid Elf for Modern, as Seething Song (that you don't have). If you manage to gather lot of mana, maybe one Borborygmos Enraged from Gatecrash won´t hurt, and if you could put in early on, it could be very nasty.
