This is an update of my Grixis Infect deck, with changes that I have made while playtesting the deck. This version is much stronger at addressing current threats in standard as follows: Aggro (Boros, Kuldotha, RDW, Quest, WW, Vamps): White and red aggro decks cannot deal effectively with Phyrexian Crusader. Pyroclasm, Lightning Bolt, and Ratchet Bomb are strong against all aggro decks that are currently being played. Best of all, pyroclasm will clear the board of most aggro creatures, while leaving your Crusaders behind. Counterspells deal with the burn. Valakut / RUG: Spreading Seas deals with Valakut itself. Counterspells and burn deal with the ramp, and counterspells with control magic deal with Eldrazi and Titans. Memoricide can also being boarded in to deal with Primeval Titan. Counterspells and doomblades can be used to deal with Avenger of Zendikar, while pyroclasm can clean up the plants. Flashfreeze is sideboard material against both Valakut and RUG. Caw-Blade: Burn spells and counterspells deal with the Hawks and Mystics, counterspells and ratchet bombs deal with the equipment. Inquisition is especially effective against this deck because most of the threats have CMC 3 or less. Memoricide and Volition Reins deal with JTMS and Gideon. U/B or U/W control: The main deck has plenty of counterspells and Inquisitions to do battle in the first round. The sideboard has extra counterspells plus Memoricide to keep things under control. A single copy of Volition Reins can snag a pesky Planeswalker to swing the game in your favor. Corrupted Conscience can be boarded in to steal their finisher. Suggestions are welcome!

Why would you tweak your mana base just for 2 bolts and 2 pyroclasm? Just add disfigure and black sun's zenith... Just a thought :)

Pyroclasm is better than Zenith because the crusaders are pro red.
