Nice deck! All creatures that block Engulfing Slagwurm are destroyed before damage is dealt. Please check out my super mana-ramp green deck. I've got some interesting ramp ideas. Tiberium Forest. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=176376

Your deck is good too, I prefer using creatures to ramp.

Savage silhouette is great, I use it to protect my creatures from black removal spells.
I like it. Lure + Engulfing Slagworm is an incredible combo. I think that pair will be nice in a number of green decks when the 2012 core set drops. I would prefer 4x Joraga Treespeakers over the Greenweaver Druids though. Same mana cost to get a level 1 Treespeaker, but you can spread the cost over two turns. A turn 1 Treespeaker can level up on turn two and produce it's two mana on that turn.
I might even consider Swiftfoot Boots, or even a Totem Aura, over the Savage Sillouette. You probably aren't going to have to worry about fatal burn damage. Creatures die before they can block or be blocked by it, so you only want something to protect it from removal, plus added benefits.
