Regarding the other cards: sapphire medallion would be great, but I don't have one :(I don't like extraplanar lens as it takes a land when lost and I mainly keep counters to protect Talrand not artifactscaged sun and switcheroo - cmc is a bit high but consider them

Yes, I have played with it (few games only) and it worked fine. Only problem is the early game, you have to wait for Talrand. I was thinking about druidic satchel and exploration lens (hope this is the name), but ended up with armillary sphere as the cmc is low, no need for strong mana ramp up. Maybe after more tests I will change to satchel.
