Deck Description

Elves which give a lot of mana and possible ways of using them. The deck I was using before was a weenie elf deck with quick low mana cards, using elf numbers and adding as much as possible +X/+X to an elf which was unblockable. But through Joraga Warcaller and the possibility of giving a lot of mana risen the idea of creating such a deck. The number of mana allows many costly abilities to be played at once.

How to Play

The thing is to bring up many mana elves as possible. 4 Archdruids and 4 Titania's bring a lot of mana and in the 4th or the 5th turn, all the useful things are on the field. Joraga Warcaller becomes stronger with each mana that could be payed, plus he takes on counters from Bramblewood Paragon and Immaculate Magistrate and one bonus helps all the elves. Ezuri handles the trample need if no Paragon is about and gives a +3/+3 bonus, which commonly resolves a combat if other combo's didn't work for a reason. Nissa Revane brings life and the useful Chosen's as early game defenders.
The most fun part starts with giving around 30+ mana and using the Genesis Wave. A lot of permanents raining down on the field with one stroke.

Deck discussion for Unleash the Elves...

Awesome Elf you've made here, bro. Really good =D Instead of 'Thornweald Archer' I would recommend "Wren's Run Vanquisher" to go hand-in-hand with Bramblewood Paragon and you're cherry
I need a little more feedback on my Nuke deck - could you maybe take a look?

Thanks a lot :) About the Wren's Run Vanquisher, I changed it for thornweld for the 'Reach' bonus as Wren always takes a huge aggro and you have to show an elf to your opponent. Still I see Thornweld as the weakest link in this deck and thinking of changing it... maybe I'll swap them with Wren according to the deck before me...

I've looked at your deck and i found it a nice combination of quick mana gain, many spells and dragon strom to give 20 damage through hellkites or losing 20 through the legenderies dying because of themselves... second combo is funnier.

Thanks for that comment, man. I appreciate it =)
Yeah *growing horns and wielding a fork* second combo is funnier, hehe
Pun aside and back on track; this is your deck, and you do with it as you desire - no doucheeness intended =) - Thornweald Archer is no laughing matter... well... only when you are playing him, bwahahahaah >:)
Any Elf Warrior with DT and reach shouldn't be taken lightly. This deck has tons of flavor - Good job :D

How often do you get this fire the Genesis Wave, and how does it work with rest of the deck? You see, I got a ps, and are thinking of adding them to my elf deck =)

Well as I have 2 of them there is a chance that I pick one at least in every few games. Through the shuffle decks I get from Nissa Revane also might increase my chances of getting it or losing it as the same. But when it turns up when my deck is fully open with a regular hand at turn 4-5, I might be able to give at least 15 mana and this is not the best opening at all. Archdruids and Titania's all give mana according to the number of elves so if I happen to get Elvish promenade before it, I might just give 20+ mana easily. 1-2 Titania, 1-2 arch druid, 1-2 llanowar elf, 3 forests at least might be in my hand as they are 4 of them in the deck and enough lands and they will be on the field in turn 3-4 and ready to use in 5...

I give most of my mana (I save the lands for any possible needs, or for the possibility of Ezuri coming down to regenerate any elf or using Vines of Vastwood at an emergency) and start to bring down all the permanents in the deck... all the lands go to the graveyard, I might put if Nissa shows up, best is having Ezuri with the group. The bad part was rolling down Joraga Warcaller with no mana to Multikick it but I solved it with Immaculate Magistrate (as she gives counters to Joraga and Joraga shares it with friends) and also any Bramblewood Paragon on the field before it gives him counters to share.

Use Genesis Wave if you really give a lot of mana. If not, look for the Green Sun Zenith and bring the useful one. But I happen to bring down 20+ permanents on the field (as I don't have much land cards, only 4 instants and 4 possibly legendary/planeswalker cards. If you have more instants and sorceries... don't use Genesis Wave, enchantments are fine though they are not affected. Hope it helps. :)

Thanks man. =) You summed it up quite nice. I do use GSZ in my current Casual Elf deck, and it works like a charm, but those Genesis Wave´s keep screaming from my drawer, hehe.
Since this is a "counter" deck, have you thought of 'Doubling Season?' - its expensive as hell, but useful in most Elf decks. I use it in my first Elf deck I built. Started out with Proxies, but ended up getting a ps for Christmas.
Ezuri and the Priest are nukes together - again, Good job =)

BTW I've modified my Dragonstorm deck, it is now fully complete and operational =) Check it out and tell me what you think;
