Deck Description

Play with your opponents toys! This deck is designed to steal and copy everything your opponents have.

Grinning totem adds another level of fun, allowing you to pull any card from your opponents library. If you can get one onto a prototype portal, you can repeat this every turn.

Fellwar stone, exotic orchard, darksteel ingot, and vivid creek ensure that you can cast these cards, and pay for abilities on stolen cards.

This deck is for casual play. It will lose pretty badly to aggressive decks, and has no chance against black discard. BUT its really fun. It provides a very different match every time you play it, and it auto-levels to the power of your opponent's deck. Playing against a badass player with a killer combo deck? now you have a badass combo deck. Playing against someone new who has a shitty frankensteined deck? now yours is shitty.

Sideboard: Elixir saves you from millstone, glaring spotlight allows you to control cards otherwise untargettable. Fog bank and stasis can slow down aggressive decks while you build your mana base. Annex steals lands, for decks that base their strategy around non-basic lands. Duplicant gets you a victory condition if your opponent has none.

How to Play

The cards in this deck take ALOT of mana. At the start of the game, get lands, fellwar stones, and ingots out as fast as you can. Use redirect and twincast to buy you some early time while you set up.

Since the cards are so expensive, you can rarely cast more than one spell per turn. However, steals give great card economy...with one card you gain something AND your opponent loses something.

Only use prototype portal if you can imprint a grinning totem on it. Grinning totem can be used without it. This is the late-game strategy, allowing you to pick any card out of an opponents deck and play it, while still drawing your own.
