I just wanted to see how many sacrifice and recursion combos I could cram into a single deck and maintain a comfortable mana base. I really doubt this build will work, but it was fun to push Persist into the deck in ways that would allow for persistent combos- pun intended. But basically, the deck revolves around having combo pieces that are commonly seen together as well as backup pieces for additional combo potential. A lot of the pieces actually synergize well enough and if no one can stop you from winning you're probably just going to win. I'm not sure how well the deck will draw cards, but anything is possible if you try hard enough to not be the target.
Anything that has or gains/gives Persist and/or Undying combos with -Melira-Zameck Guildmage-Combine Guildmage-Walking Ballista-Triskelion-Craterhoof Behemoth-Protean Hulk-PurphorosAnd additional sacrifice outlets like-Ashnod's Altar-Phyrexian Altar-Greater Good-Viscera SeerAlso, Living Death has potential in a pinch, especially if your recursion combo pieces are removed. There is a lot more to this deck like flash and haste, but I'll let you figure out what combinations you can pull out of the Black on your own.
