So, I'm pretty bad at deck building, but I wanted to give this dedicated combo a shot in Pioneer. I have already created a list to combo with Emry in modern without Jeskai Ascendancy, but since Pioneer is new and Mox Amber isn't banned yet I figured what the hell. Honestly, from the sample hands I have no idea how consistent this will be. In some it looked like I could easily hit Emry with 2 Moxes and an Ascendancy by turn 4, but in other hands it looked like it could take 7 or 8 turns just to get the setup right. I'm not really sure how to smooth this out, so I pushed Search for Azcanta and a bunch of non creature spells with Ascendancy to try and dig as effectively as possible for the pieces. The only problem I keep running into is the sample hand algorithm that keeps screwing or flooding, and that makes it pretty tough to estimate the likelihood of completing a combo. I say personally it is probably best to mulligan aggressively to have at least one Mox and maybe a second combo piece in hand if possible, unless you go to 4 then that is probably too far. Try to have at least 2 lands in opener if you want to survive, and please, if you have any other suggestions for how to more efficiently push this list leave them in the comments. I want to see this one win some games pretty bad.
Play Emry, Jeskai Ascendancy, and 2 Mox Ambers to make infinite mana as well as get enough cast triggers from the Ascendancy to draw and play your win conditions (Sai, Purphoros, Nexus, Circle of Loyalty, and/or Monastery Mentor). I like all of those cards, although I have a lot of copies of legendary permanents so I added some cards that care about them or that can use the dead ones in hand to filter for more outs.
