I don't really want to use Consume the Meek... that will take out most of my vamps.

I wish I had Marsh Flats. Maybe next payday... Also, on that same note, I'll need to pick up a couple Blades. I swapped Urge to Feed with Feast of Blood, and threw Sanguine Bond in the SB.
I know, but I want to try something different. I guess to each his own, but a 5/4 shroud/trample/lifelink sounds a little better than a 6/5 shroud... to me, at least.
The whole point of the deck is not to play the Sledge, but to use Quest for the Holy Relic to equip it onto the hushblade. "Remove five quest counters from Quest for the Holy Relic and sacrifice it: Search your library for an Equipment card, put it onto the battlefield, and attach it to a creature you control. Then shuffle your library." Says nothing about target creature, so yes, it does work.
Yea, that was meant to be Quest for Renewal. I don't know why I made that mistake. Like I said before, strictly casual. I don't expect to win any tournaments or anything with it. I think the biggest thing I hope to win is a look of shock when my opponent sees me put a sledge on the hushblade.
Oh yea, completely forgot about fetch lands. Took out the 4xCreeping Tar Pit for 4xScalding Tarn.
If you're going to throw in Blood Tributes, find a way to work in Sanguine Bond. Those two cards were MADE for each other.
Personally, I'd replace the Laceraters with Pulse Trackers. All you have to do is disignate the Tracker as an attacker to do the one point of damge to opponent. Also, if you wanna keep Sanguine Bond, I would try to find a way to work Vampire Aristocrat into your deck. A prime example is this: Have Aristocrat, Highborn, and 3 other vamps in play along with Sanguine Bond Sac the 3 vamps to Aristocrat, giving him an additional +6/+6 Pay Highborn's ability cost, causing 6pts of damage to opponent and you gain 6 life Sanguine Bond hits opponent for another 6 damage. 12pts of damage, 6 life gained and you have a 8/8 to do with as you please until EoT.
Tap Sejiri Refuge for W and Tap ghost. Exile Sejiri Refuge, then return it to play tapped. BOTH amulets of Vigor trigger. First resolves, untapping Sejiri Refuge Before the second resolves, tap Sejiri Refuge for U Second resolves, untapping Sejiri Refuge Now you have one W and U mana Pay one U and Tap Tideforce and untap ghost Repeat. This is pretty much where I was going with this. If the Crab is in play, this pretty much means that the opponent puts his library into his graveyard. If you have the lynx out, it gets as big as you want it to. Plus, since you're gaining one life everytime Sejiri Refuge CIP, you can set you life to a rediculous number.
My goal here is not to play more than one land, but to bounce Sejiri Refuge or Glacial Fortress via Ruin Ghost /Tideforce Elemental. I can see the potential of being able to use Walking Atlas; I'll look at how I can work him in. Now the question is... what would it replace?
