I wanted this deck to be a black blue control deck. Deathtouch to and kill cards to take out creatures and counter cards for spells. I know it needs work but I'm not sure where. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I hope to use the deck at FNM.

Would be good, if you haven't played a lot of cards in the main deck, that should be sideboards... :) Drop Essence Scatter, Ultimate Price & Victim!.. Add Murder(3), 1 more High Priest, 1 more Rat, 1 more Assassin, 1 more Nighthawk, 1 more Demon & 1 more Slip!.. Play 22 lands total!.. ...drop 1 Syncopate & add 3 Geralf's Messanger!.. Play 9 Swamp & 5 Island with the 4-4 Catacomb & Watery Grave!.. ...drop Evolving Wilds!.. Change Killing Wave to Negate!.. I have a deck I'm working on right now... ...any suggestions would be appreciated: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=399469 I also have 5 decks at top decks, if you are interested in checking any of them... I think, your way to use Desecration Demon is the best I've seen yet...

I thought about your advice and play tested for the past couple days. This is what I came up with. 1) Watery Grave didn't come back with RTR. It's not standard legal. 2) I did drop Essence Scatter, Ultimate Price and Victim of Night. Good call as I had enough creature control already. 3) I added one more of all my creatures to help bring out their combos. 4) I tried Murder. I found that usually it just sat in my hand. There was enough creature control in the creatures. 5) Tried Geralf's Messanger. It didn't fit with any of my other creatures. Three Black proved costly at times. 6) Evolving Wilds = Gone. I really never should have put it in. 7) Killing Wave has been extremely useful when dealing with token, rat and Zombie decks. It stays. 8) I completely overlooked Negate when forming this deck. The extra control proved very useful and it is now in my main. Thanks for the advice. The deck is more reliable and less redundant.
This list looks solid, but one of my favorite cards you might want to look into is Blood Artist. It works great with the High Priest. Not to sure what I would cut out for them maybe thrill-kill assassin.
