Deck discussion for U/B Proliferate Control

I'd suggest a few Master Transmuter's to keep bouncing out your Contagion Engine :O

lots of proliferate..to take out opponents monsters i presume cause you only have 4 cards to give your opponent poisen counters..
Maybe you can add phyrexian vatmother-crusader?
seems a good deck :)

I've considered the use of crusader. The only important 3 drop slot that I have is Jace...my early game is lacking due to this but it's compensated for a lot of removal/control. I want to implement him for some ground control without have to utilize my inkmoths early on. The only thing I don't know is what to take it for him. I don't really like the vatmother because if I can't get through someone due to a mystifying maze or they lock down her, then i'm on a 10 turn clock

i think 3 black sun zenith are to much. they are mixed in the stack after use, so ild only take 2. u also have 3 preordain, so it should be easier to get the card u need.
why not using more creatures with poison? e.g. core prowler. this creature can serve as a blocker and at least allows proliferation. i would use it instead of 3 steady progress.

i would also remove disfuigure and add 2 virulent wounds which allow to poison the enemy. since contagion clasps, prolifertation ability, black suns zenith will do the same job :)

if you use throne of geth you could use the artifacts for prolifertation. e.g. in late game chalices probably won t be of any use. so you could consume them and the clasps for fast proliferation (eg using clasp with 4 mana, and then throne of geth, makes 2 poison each round). also u could use throne of geth on 3 core prowler which also makes 2 poison counters.

apart from that it appears to be a nice deck :)

The reason I don't use the core prowlers or thrones is because it clumps up the deck and my control keeps the board clean early on. Disfigure has been really amazing especially against stuff with 2 toughness. The virulent wounds don't do much against them whereas disfigures take care of those creatures rather quickly.

3 Black Sun's zenith are actually really good. I never hate drawing them because it's board wipe as soon as I draw it. 3 gives me more chance to hit one when I need it which I like.

You'd be surprised how amazing chalices are late game. They allow me to use black sun for a lot, or use blue sun to make someone draw their deck.

Steady progress fills the 3 drop spot that the deck lacks. I don't want too many creatures otherwise the control aspect kinda disappears and I'm more of a poison deck.
