Uhm, Forced Fruition isn't standard legal either. Anyways, if you are looking to play standard, you might want to think of replacing either non-standard legal cards with Trapmaker's Snare (for Archive) and Ponder. You might also want to run more lands. Try 22 - 24 lands. Maybe run some fetchers (the least expensive being Terramorphic Expanse and one of the panoramas). Also, if you want to play against control decks, try running man lands instead of 4 reliquary tower. I don't know, maybe run 2 towers and 2 Dread Statuary. You might also want to replace Spell Pierce with Negate.

Mind Sludge can be important, but it definitely does not warrant running 3 or 4 of. Running 2 should be enough, and siding extras depending on the deck you are playing against. If you resolve a Mind Sludge against an opponent with 3 or more cards with little board presence (that is removable with Doom Blade), it pretty much spells you win the game unless lady luck hates you.
If you want to abuse Quest for the Nihil Stone, you should run more copies of it since you have to get it early to be able to trigger it. If you top deck it into your fourth or fifth turn, chances are that you have already discarded your opponent's hand and it won't be able to trigger. I agree with subbing out Mire's Toil for a better alternative. Could be Scepter of Fugue. Maybe removal or protection. For sideboard, you might want to run Deathmarks, Infests and other spells that will improve your chances against different decks.
Mind Sludge is definitely a better addition than Mind Shatter if I'm running monoblack. Problem with it is that the opponent discard cards equal to number of swamps I control. I am only running 8 Swamps which makes Mind Sludge less efficient than Mind Shatter in most cases. This is important against opponents who drops enough threats on the board and holds back on a full hand.
Black White beatdown. Very cool. I would try to include an equipment or two. Enchantments are comparatively easier to remove than equipment (they go with your creature). Think of it as a recurring aura. Either that or drawing cards, like Night's Whisper, just in case your opponent manages to clear the board and you have an empty hand. SB: If you are willing to spend a tad bit more, try Austere Command. Some graveyard hate wouldn't hurt either.
Like the previous poster mentioned, you should splash red for Blightning and spells like Terminate/Bolt for better board control. Red also has Burning Inquiry which sets off your quest immediately - for fast decks that empties their hand by turn 3 or 4 *cough*RDW*cough*. I would advise taking out Bloodchief Ascension - it would be difficult for your current build to trigger.
Remove Piranha's Marsh. It's going to set you back more than help you. I can see why you including Crypt of Agadeem, but most of the time you will not have enough creatures in your graveyard to make worth more than 3 mana (unless someone pops a DoJ). I could be wrong on this - you will have to playtest it.
I don't think s/he's trying to make a mill deck. This looks more like discard/control to me. Drudge Skeletons provide a means of buying time. You might want to side board some creature removals (Disfigure/Doom Blade/Deathmark), especially against flying creatures. You may need additional means of putting opponent's creatures into graveyards. Other than that, it looks pretty solid. Oh, and I might just take out the Piranha Marsh-es and replace it with either more Swamps or Fetchers (seeing how expensive they are, probably swamps).
-1 Rise from the Grave -2 Burning Inquiry Those can be better replaced with more mind rot/mind sludge or tendrils of corruption. I might also suggest you remove Piranha Marsh for Swamps if you decide to play mind sludge/tendrils.
Nevermind. I just realized the souls might part of the combo.
-4 lapse of certainty +4 angel song Maybe include Journey to Nowhere/Oblivion Ring? You might also want to think of Asha's Favor as an enchantment.
Razerunner + sigil of distinction does not give +1/+1 counters - so there's no damage dealt from that. But Soul's might and gemblades are good combos. :)
Nevermind the above. Didn't see Jhessian Infiltrator. Knotvine Paladin would be a good addition as well.
Try adding Whispersilk Cloak to the mix. That should bump your deck up to 60.
- 1 Cloud Key: 4 Sculptors are good enough. Plus you have tezzeret. And doing so will make your deck standard. For an aggro deck, I would include Sphinx Summoners (3 or 4), Sharuum (probably 2). What into_the_aether said: Pick one strategy. You don't have enough cards to control and you can certainly use the spots to advance your aggro board.
Most of what the faceless said. You should swap Diabolic Tutor and Tendrils of Corruption out. You already have 4x of each card, you don't really need it and it's space for better spells/creatures. Maybe look at Vampire's Bite or Blood Tribute. Tendrils of corruption is based off swamps and your mixed mana pool doesn't help it. It can be better substituted with feast of blood, since you have a number of vampires in your deck.
