Poor. I TOTALLY understand! =D Didn't mean to rip it apart, it does seem like a good deck! Keep up the good work!

Conjurer's Bauble, Flight Spellbomb seem pointless. I would say remove them. Reliquary Tower - You should try to get at least one. That way you could have some mana AND no hand size. Since you're only rockin one Venser's Journal, that might give you a better chance of getting a no hand size card. Lich Lord - Is a damn good zombie card to have in a zombie deck, but to have him as one of your main sources of milling seems really slow and probably not reliable. As was mentioned by beyondallreason above, you may want to pick some of the better cards and play with multiples. This seems like somewhat of a crap shoot as it is. Also, since you are playing zombies, Thraximundar might be a nice addition, just for some hitting power, and to get rid of any creatures they get out. Also, get at least one Jace in there. I recommend of course the better Jace, (can't remember the name, but it's the one where they put half their library in the graveyard.) Although either one is almost a necessity in a mill deck. If anyone feels up to it BTW, check out my deck and comment please! Thanks! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=131554
A solid concept. I like it too, because you have actually made it from cards you have, unlike a lot of decks I see where people just pick cool cards and make a deck. I would recommend throwing in some more cheap/small creatures, just to give you some protection while you build up the mana to burn the player to death. You wouldn't want to waste your burn spells on creatures they throw at you. Possibly a Elvish Wayfinder (mana accel and 2/2), or an Elvish Warrior (2 mana drop and it's a 2/3)... Even a wall or two since your main objective is to burn them. (Wall of wood, wall of vines [REACH! YAY!]) and those are both just 1 green mana. Check out my deck too if you get a chance. Thanks! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=131554
Seems like you're kind of screwed if you don't get glimpse of nature on your first draw... If you do though this is a sick combo! Gotta say it would piss me off if someone pulled this off on me. ;D Check out my deck too if you get a chance... thanks! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=131554
Nice deck. I assume that Meddling Mage and Guard gomazoa are your anti progenitus cards? Seems like a gamble in hoping that you get meddling mage out. And once guard gomazoa comes out I assume you just chump block Progenitus when it attacks? Am I missing something, or is that the strategy?
I forgot about TInker... even better and faster... play that to get Darksteel out and then sculpt... Game over turn one.
Reliquary Tower might be worthwhile. With Ancestral Recall and Timewalk and Thought Cast you could get a big hand quick. With RT that wouldn't be a problem and you could get the mana down to play a whole load of stuff real quick. Since you seem to have access to two of the oldest and most broken cards in the game, I imagine you are sitting on like 8 Black Lotuses, so put those in and and you could drop darksteel collosus on first turn with the aid of moxes. Then next turn go ahead and sculpting steel for more darksteel collosuses and then BAM... game over. =D
I made a Weeny Bane deck that was artifact based, (proliferate with -1/-1 counters) and there are some great cards in here that I am going to add to that deck. Overall this is a fun deck I think. Well built, if slightly one dimensional.
I liked it just because it was cows. Awesome bro. Awesome.
Would splinter played on a land after liquimetal coating end the game in essence? In other words, would it be able to destroy all the lands left in the library? Just want to make sure I understand that right. If so that is insane... crazy deck. Well made. I love it. Like +1
First off pull Overgrown Battlement... you don't have any cards with defender do you? Second I would put in two more prismatic omens just because it seems like the easiest way to get any color mana and that way you could much better increase your odds of pulling one. Or you put Diabolic Tutor or something like it that allows you to pull any card from your library. Personally I would pull the Lotus Cobras and put in Llanowar elves for more mana generation but that's just me. Or even some Myrs or something. Seems like a solid deck though. One more thing.... other than birds of paradise do you have any small summons that can trump block while you build mana? Or is that not an issue for you?
I really like this deck. I am going to steal some of these ideas to make my own. Thanks for putting this up!
I like it. I like it alot. It seems like it would play well. Also, what's nice about it, is you could keep the core, but swap in various other cards to specialize it. It could be combined with blue and made to be a control. Could stay mono white and just swap some cards and it could be anti black deck. Really could deck with great bones. Well done.
Hey again Elley! I do think the quag sickness is somewhat out of place in this deck. There are definitely better black enchantments you could put in if you want this to be a green/black deck. Unfortunately I am at work and so cannot remember the names of the ones I am thinking of. I will try to remember to get on in the AM when I get home and post them. On another note, I would pull the gnarlids and put a couple protean hydra's. I know it is an entirely different card, but instead of multikicking you can just put it out there as a bad arse card and then watch it get better. Having Ajani Goldmane in there seems REALLY out of place. The odds of you pulling the two whites in time to get him out are slim to none, and so I would reconsider and put a green or black planeswalker in instead. Or none at all. I disagree with "theboss" that the blacks are useless... they have uses and the ones you have in there are good cards. Personally I would try to include a few more blacks just so I could have a better chance of playing some black cards and not just have it be a green deck with a really rare black thrown in. But that's just me... Overall has the beginnings of a good deck!
Awesome. I may have to put one together myself then. If you don't mind I'll probably copy it verbatim. I will make sure to credit you to my friends when all the arse whoopings occur! 40 card decks.... wow. I can't imagine. Maybe that will be one of my next goals.
Seems like an awesome deck! Does having 67 cards though hinder you at all? I am not sure what you could/should take out... but it seems like it would be truly unstoppable and consistent with a few less cards... Although this from the guy who makes every deck at least with 65... ;D
Having a miniscule amount of experience with mill decks (I don't even have one, I just got smoked by my buddy's though.) it seems as if you are extremely vulnerable. The only creatures you have only have two toughness and I would imagine you just take whatever damage comes your way since the ability they have to make an opponent discard is obviously integral to this pure mill deck. Sooo... my question is, how does it play? Can you consistently get the mana and the cards that are needed to mill someone to death before they trample all over you? One of my decks that I have sinced recycled was a mono green, big beast deck. I had it set so I could generate mana reedonculously fast and then get the big creatures out and buffed and just run people over. So again, since I assume you have played this deck, how consistent is it? Just curious really. I would like to show my friend what it is like to be milled and so I am considering creating a deck. You've got some good stuff going in there...
Good point. Another reason to throw some red in there. Even if it is minimal. At least get a goblin chief or two out there to buff the boggarts.
For what is availible this seems like a strong deck. The boggarts seem like a strong group, but I just saw a red/black Gob deck on here and it seemed to me that it would play better. Also... if you go Red Black then you can use, Wort, Boggart Auntie! Which is just awesome, mostly for the flavor text, but she is a strong card as well. But, as I was trying to say at the beginning, for a mono black Gob deck this seems well put together!
