Taking all of that into consideration I've made the following changes: Dropped Balustrade Spies moved Crypt Ghast from the side board, Dropped CorpseJack for Deathrite Shaman, Killing Glare was dropped in favor of Mutant's Prey. I've also added Korozda Guildmage, Sin Collector, and Underworld Connections to the side board.Thanks for the input.

5/15/2013: Added a Side Board, thinned some lands (due to results from drawing sample hands), added Bred for the Hunt and Syncopate to the Main Deck.
Definitely handy for the brainstorming. Although I'd like to try and keep this eligible for standard play, I think it'd be fun to try something a little different at Friday Night Magic.
I'm inclined to agree with the idea of limiting the amount of legendaries. There are plenty of control cards out in the Ravnica block. Plasm Capture will work well with the X mana cost in Nimbus Swimmer, but of course there are others, even cheaper ones that work just as well. With Forced Adaption and the Evolve mechanic you want to try and stay in the game long enough to get big, control cards will help with that.
When it comes to adding +1/+1 counters I like to recommend Increasing Savagery from Dark Ascension set. Turn 4 you can drop 5 counters, and then late game you can cast it at Flashback cost for 10 counters.
