Deck Description

Lock your opponent out early.
The combination of fast, land independent mana via elves and the resource limiting power of Armageddon leaves your oppponent hanging while you cast your angels to hit hard for victory.

Skyshroud Elf is key to convert all the green mana to white mana for your angel summons.
Oblivion Ring, Aura Shards and Swords to Plowshares takes care of annoyances that manage to slip through your land-lockdown.
Eladamri's Call lets you find that crucial Skyshroud Elf or that first heavy hitter when your opening hand wasn't in your favor.
Joraga Warcaller and Elvish Archdruid help against tremor-like effects (which can wipe the deck early) and make your Elves a formidable fighting force in case your Angels get shut down.

Because of your fast mana and many cheap creatures you risk running out of steam when faced with cheap (mass)removal. The Howling Mines grant you a steady supply of additional cards.

How to Play

Begin first whenever possible.

Optimal starting hand:
Llanowar Elves, Fyndhorn Elves, Priest of Titania, Skyshroud Elf, Armageddon, Forest, Any Angel

Turn 1: Forest, Elves
Turn 2: (Land), Priest, Elves
Turn 3: (Land), Skyshroud Elf, possibly morph an Exalted Angel. If you draw a second Armageddon don't hesitate to blow up the board early. You got plenty of mana from your elves and your opponent has to start from 0 while you still got another armageddon
Turn 4 - End: More Elves, Angels and Armageddons to finish your manaless opponent

While this is a hypothetical scenario, it's not unlikely to happen.

It's quite common to go
Turn 1: Forest -> Elves
Turn 2: Plains -> Morphed Exalted Angel
Turn 3: Plains -> Morph the Angel and hit for 4dmg/life
Next few turns: more Elves + Armageddon.

In general:
Ramp up your mana with elves, drop an angel and (repeatedly) reset your opponent to turn 1 using Armageddon

Deck discussion for Angels & Elves

I am actually not that happy with the Howling Mines because they help your opponent get lands but I haven't found an adequate replacement yet. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment :)
