Easily one of your more competitive budget decks(:I would recomend intangible virtue if its still standard though(:

Aether vial would be insane in this deck for creature output to reserve mana for your enchantments(:
These decks are not very balanced at all, and here's the reason for me saying so:Typically, I enjoy the deck's you make. They are simply made yet well constructed, however these duel decks are very poorly made. When it comes down to the commanders of the two decks, storm crow simply blows chimney imp out of the water!I mean, a five mana 1/2 with a weak discard?? *yawnsBut a two mana, flying 1/2!?!?! WHAT!?That's incredibly broken11 The crow deck hit's top power at second turn, and then the game is practically over so honestly who ever plays these duel decks and chooses the imps, you are sorrily fooled by stupidity(:and btw, congrats on the recent explosion in popularity man, its well deserved :D <3
SHIVAN DRAGON :DOh gosh, when that card used to be the scariest creature that could hit the field... Those were dark times XD
I believe he is purposly making these decks a bit unfinished feeling so that beginners can quickly grasp the cards and it also feels like a starter deck, which is where most beginners started (me included, and i still have the very first deck i ever got :D(which mightve been a sliver deck...))anyways, i really like how you made these decks man, way to be a team player for new guys (:
Then you can become a truely planeswalker?? XDAnd NORTHERN! I always see your budget decks, and now youre making decks based on teaching new players too?? Props to you (: and btw, on a flavor/structure note, the way you described the colors was awesome. I really enjoyed reading this and it actually made me revise one of my decks and ive been playing for years :oIm about to check out those new decks but wanted to say this first, cheers to helping the newbs Nothern(:
lolol gravecrawler is the best blocker, so are bloodghast and carrion feeder XD
ohhhh, I see, and yeah it is budget(:
Though I love alot of your other decks, the mana curve on this deck is wayyyyy too high, and that will slow it down to a point of uselesseness especially in modern :p Not to mention what are you going to scarifice with all these sac effects??
haha dragonskull and drown catacombs work with swamps!! (:
Ahhhh, evil elementals are an old favorite of mine! :DThis deck has alot of things that make it quite competitive, especially the creatures mana curve is almost exact with aether vial, and your counter output is solid and capable with black suns zenith able to kill weaker horde based decks. Though your sideboard is empty, and a deck like this has a few basic cards that can be used(:However, before the sideboard can come into play, there are a couple weakpoints with in the deck D:first and probably the only one is: Sickle reaper. This deck has so many other cards that can benefit it so much, such as aether vial should be a definite three in the deck because you play alot of three and four cost creatures, which would consistently be put on the field with rituals and the vial. Sickle reaper is a nice quick little wither hitter, but he's too weak in the deck to be put in over another necroskitter, or maybe another zenith. :/So, I would cut down the sickle reapers to maybe two or none at all, and add in one more crumbling ashes or necroskitter and one more aether vial(:(-2 sickle reapers, +1 aether vial, +1 necro skitter, -2 swamps, +2 cavern of souls)caverns of souls is just the perfect land for this deck and your dark rituals and basic mana cost plus the aether should save mana and supply enough for your enchantments since they both have blank mana with in them(:The next thing, since you wrote in your description of a tournament this is competing at, is the thing I hate most... Side boarding! :DLegacy is a format that has some powerful things. This deck is gonna have a hard time with quick horde build ups which can quickly be solved with sideboarding two more black sun zeniths into the deck, to give you a nice field wipe that works with crumbling ashes and necro and blowfly ^_^Next, I would sideboard (presuming you play three allready) a single necroskitter for an opponent whos gonna wanna play some big ass green creatures.(Or god help us...eldrazi D: ) lol, so getting a kill card in with necro on the field after zenithing or anything along the lines will completly end the game, giving you the instant advatange ur opponent has wanted all game(:Also, once again for horde decks, black suns zenith should be boarded for something like a kuldotha goblin, or some fast explosive horder, whilst side boarding maybe two crumbling ashes or just one would help against white horde decks that slowly build some sort of indestructible thing or try and lock down the field with a sudden timely reinforcements or a isochron+raise the alarm. Once a single token is killed with a token, you basically just wiped the field one creature after one creature after another :DIts like dominoes with field wipe ^-^(Also if they ahve some ridiculous basic creature horde deck like slesnya, side board one or two kulrath knights for contrl aspect(:And last thing that comes to mind, is maybe side board four scars just for a deck that is very single creature based like an isntant delver/kami of the moon deck or something along those lines (:Besides all of that, thats all I gotta say about elementals(:I made an elemental deck that got pretty popular(70+likes) a while back, one of my favorite decks I have actually and I'd be interested in ur opinion of it or if it inspires you to change this deck at all(:Post in the description how you do and good luck with glourious black :Dhttp://www.mtgvault.com/greenee/decks/the-elements-are-tainted/ -the deck
hahaha this is a huge improvement!!(: Didnt even recognize the deck XDtry taking out three mountains for three dragon skull summits, and the islands for drowned catacombs
magic is a very fun game, and the key to magic is efficiency and thinning ur deck to be almost 4 of every card (:a good start is to maybe buy an event deck and work on it, they are about 20-30 dollars and can compete pretty well and it also how i started :D
awww...the deck is 667 now :'(
ohhhh i gotcha :P
Thank you so much for commenting that XDAnd it wasnt a coincidence;Satan went out of his way to perfect this deck himself XD
I've only played it at kitchen table because I had to proxy a few cards due to budget reasons, but I am currently almost finished with the deck (as in gathering cards) and let me tell you, I've had people straight up quit the game on third turn when I third turn pox fourth turn obliterator/persecutor(:
okay im so confused what is a pauper deck??? XD
^well thats presuming he was serious about this deck, which honestly i think he made it as a joke :/I would make it serious, however :D
strip mines are gone, didnt know they were banned D:ad rite of consumption would be a bit too situational in my opinion, but i might side board 2 death clouds for low field creature/lands decks and play two just for fun(:
