This deck was superfriends before superfriends was superfriends. Legends working together for no reason other than I force them to. Despite being years in the making and an expanded budget, it is still a little clunky, but that's ok, I think that's what edh is all about. I mean, i have a Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon EDh that is worth 1/8th of this and would beat it every time. This one is for fun, but don't underestimate it, it will kill you fantastically if you let it. The legends are each strong on their own, but when Odric, Lunarch Marshal comes and takes charge, they basically become slivers. Massive, flying, first strike, vigilance, double strike, double damage, hexproof, indestructible, deathtouch, lifelink, haste, and trample slivers with two attack phases. At that point it is over. Child of Alara is my general, because the deck is slower and I need to clear the board usually so I don't die right away.
I have a love/hate relationship with this deck. It is powerful and moody, aggressive and controlly, and somehow fast and slow at the same time. I'd say it is one of my favorites, but i also hate it.
