I don't know legacy very well. I'm looking for suggestions of control cards assuming I want to use these (Which I do). Help!

depends what your goal for the deck is...if its just trying to control the board until aetherling (which you should probably change out ) or bolas can come out, then you may want to add in some board wipes as part of your control (damnation, etc). You most likely wont be able to counter everything they drop, so you need some mass removal effects to deal with additional threats until your win conditions are met.

Aetherling, Bolas, or Jace could be my win-con. I just wanna play Mind Bender.

You have to remember the cards that will hurt you i that format...for example, gaddock teag, nimble mongoose, pithing needle, tarmogoyf, vendilion, etc. You need a way to stop them from happening, or can destroy them after they hit the table. You will be out of luck if an opponent casts a turn 2 gaddock and you have only 1 land out. That's where force of will come in, or bounce/remove effects like echoing truth, or swords to plowshares comes in.

So what do I want? Again, I'm just standard, I have no idea what plays well in legacy

counterbalance and Senseis divining top work really well together. daze is a must. force of will if you have it. cryptic command. counterspell. spell snare for the goyfs mental misstep. stifle. just a bunch of counter for ya. brainstorm isnt bad if you throw in some miracle. and top works really well with that to. but definitely get thoughtseize and some easy red bounce like flame slash or lightning bolt to junk some stuff and play well. but basically if you get a good mix of mana costs. conterbalance and top is good enought to throw stuff until you drop jace or bolas. goodluck!

Not that it would matter, but misstep is banned in legacy as well.
