The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Only one simple goal: Fling walls at opponent to deal damage. An old friend of mine told me about this idea and I decided to make something similar to it. Basically, you just throw out a couple walls and with Merfolk Thaumaturgist, Fling OR use Soul's Fire to damage opponent. If anyone has any suggestions, go ahead and comment. Have fun with the idea. :)

Will this work? Won't they die as a static ability not on the stack?

yeah it seems like merfolk thaumaturgist will rape your own walls since all of them only have 0 power. The standard fling deck usually seems to consist of kiln fiend, red "mind control", and goblin bazaar dude. Kiln fiend being optional of course. =)
I haven't played MTG in a good while, do I didn't really think of that. I was trying to find cards other than merfolk to try the same thing too, but came up empty. Any other ways to pull this off?
Have a way to boost their toughness?
You mean like just adding +1/+1 enchantments so when the power/toughness is switched it won't immediately die?
Pretty much
Okay, I added Gift of Granite (add +0/+2). Should that work?
I think we were discussing how you need to boost a creature's power over 0. The toughness is plenty atm. I would try Warmonger's Chariot for the alternate way to deal damage. It also provides the +2 power that you need.
No, gift of granite wont work.
Lol, yeah, I had just realized my mistake a couple hours ago. Was editing it too quickly, so it slipped my mind that it should be +2/+0 and not vice versa. Thanks for the suggestion too, notassociated. Warmonger is definitely a better idea.
