This deck is based off of my favorite combo ever, Niv-Mizzet and Curiosity. Works every time. Just had to re-vamp so it could press the offensive and I wouldn't be overrun by aggro decks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Swerve redirects damaging spells towards my enemy. Izzet Guildmages are used to Crackleburr while also being affected by Clout and strong enough to withstand a Rain of Embers. Ransackers are helpful for drawing, but dangerous to the combo; use them only if you don't have a Niv or Curiosity already in your hand. Pucas just fuck with people. Inside Out used to be in this deck to further that goal. Shrewd Hatchlings are a non-Niv win condition. The Liege buffs all of your creatures, and makes Niv cheaper. Ghastly Discovery is a draw mechanism, with more control than the Ransacker. Thrash and Dragon are some fatties to put pressure on your enemy, while keeping the deck random.

Good God! This is the first time I've heard/seen this card "Niv-Mizzet" (I'm an old school classic player and many of the new stuff is really 'new' to me). This guy rocks! I'm just thinking about Brain Geyser and Prosperity, Wheel of Fortune, Teferi's Puzzlebox. WOW. Great card! As far as the deck...looks solid.

Yeah, he's pretty cool...the combo here is Curiosity+Niv-Mizzet. However, you have a great idea-more drawing cards cards. They will certainly be added.
play 4 niv-mizzet and 4 curiosity so you can combo off more often
