Deck discussion for Into The Maelstrom

Hello my friend ! As I see you really like the "Cascade" mechanic, so I would like to give you some tips of my own to help some synergies in your build (and I have kept them as budget as possible !) :
1) Try to replace your "Signal the Clans" with "Worldly Tutor"s. StC's "tutoring effect is kind of random, and it lets your opponent choose what you get. One the other hand, WT will let YOU choose what creature will be brought up, and it will also put it on top of youe library, meaning that, if you played it on your turn, you can Cascade that creature into play at once (while Maelstrom Wanderer, if he Cascades into WT first, the creature your put on top will be Cascaded by him next and enter play without any other cast required!)

2) Try and change some cards of your choice with cards that allow you to either "Scry" or re-arrange cards on the top of your library. This will help you maximize the efficiency of your deck, and reduce the factor "Luck" when triggering a Cascade effect.

3) Personally, I believe 3 Malestrom Wanderers is kind of an overkill. Unless you get really lucky with ramping, you might be forced to just keep him in your hand and not cast him. I suggest reducing their copies by 1 or 2 (since I suspect you like this specific card, I would suggest your keep at least one copy in there !), so that you could fit in 2 more Shardless Agents.

4) Two cards that kind of puzzle me are Vexing Devil and Elixir of Immortality, and why is that : They do play their own roles as cards that can be cascaded for a strong effect, but they kind of feel off. However, their difference is that, I personally would change all copies of Vexing Devil, for something to co-operate better with my "Cascade"ers (or at least something that still deals damage but without letting my opponent choose how, like Lightning Bolt, or Incinerate), while I do not mind keeping 1 or 2 Elixirs in there, since that 5 life can really save your hide.

5) Try to designate which are the spells you WANT to have cascaded, and which you don't. This applies during your deckbuilding AND during your plays. If you don't want to expose your strong creatures, or cast your strong spells during an unfit time, you need to choose which are the correct "Cascade"ers for the job.

On any other aspect, your deck seems really fun ! It makes use of interesting "Cascade"ers and lets Shivan Wurm give its own shining show. Moreover, I also like how you took ramping into good consideration by putting 8 cards that will aid in casting those 6 CMC and 8 CMC creatures.
Remember, those were just my pieces of advice, based on my personal preferences. Since this deck is made for you to have fun, you are not obliged to listen to anyone but your own instinct on what you believe will keep things exciting for you ! Now, if you eventually decide you would to give your deck a more competitive build, I would really love to offer any tips on that too.
Also, I am sorry if this wall of text got you tired ! I can get too enthusiastic when explaining things ! :P
For the ending, here are some cards that might help your "Cascade"'ing adventures ! :
Brainstorm
Augury Owl
Liliana Vess (in case you ever consider splashing black in there!)
Primal Command
Mwonvuli Beast Tracker (Gets that Wurm on the board/hand!)
Roaring Primadox
Flame-Kin Zealot (if you ever splash one white land or two, this guy will hasten your attackers and boost them once Cascaded, giving you a good surprise gift for any opponent! A good Fanatic of Xenagos upgrade, although harder to Cascade.)
Halimar Depths

I suggest you give them all a look !
I wish I have helped you in some way !
Be well, and may the Topdeck Gods be with you ! :P

Lol may all be blessed by the top deck gods, especially you!!! But...Aaaahhhhh so much information and all of its good!! Um where to start? Vexing devil can go away, he's big for cheap and CAN have a big impact, but overall idk...as far as elixir goes...I love having all the life gain on earth AND being able to shuffle my graveyard back into the library stops me from milling myself to death (being that I play mainly multilayer irl it comes in handy because games last soooo much longer)..maelstrom wanderer is the namesake for the deck and my inspiration, with him being a big threat he's likely to get knocked out so I fear I have to keep three of him...as far as which spells I want to cascade and which ones I dont...that was kinda the underlying theme of the deck is that no matter what I happen to cascade, it will help me out...the only one I have an issue with is rampant growth, but it's soooo necessary early game for me to be able to play maelstrom wanderer in time along with having the right land to keep my etherium horn sorcerers in my hand as much as possible...at the end of the day I'd like to have as little card stacking abilities as possible, they're really helpful but I'm a poor planner:( lol

As you said at the end of the day the deck is for fun and for fun it shall stay, buuuut on the same note I hope to have a sideboard that will make it competitive, and on that day to you I will come.

Ending notes are...I need to find a replacement for Vexing devil...primal command fucking rocks no matter what the circumstances...brainstorm and augury owl are serious contenders now...and Liliana is always awesome forever.

Thank you soooo much for taking a look at this deck for me...and as a special gift...here is my competitive deck I'm toying with now....
