Mystical teachings can tutor up gifts ungiven or any counter spells or removal that you might need at instant speed. Gifts ungiven searches an eternal wittness, a noxious revival, and two cards you need, or can set up an aether vial, wittness, cryptic command counter combo. The deck wins by beating down the opponent with delvers, vendilion clique, and other small threats while stopping the opponent's threats with counter spells and instant speed removal. Sideboard in some fast spells like lightning bolt, tombstalker and more delvers to win early in control match ups or combo hate in combo match ups.
