Deck Description

RDW

it costs $26 dollars from cardkingdom for a deck that will not go out of standard for a while and often wins by turn 5. I win about 2/3 of the time in tournaments with the deck (losing mainly to control decks).

Please comment, but try to keep the deck cost low.

Deck discussion for $26 Standard Burn

Is that not the most beautiful mana curve you have ever seen?

You need pyromancer ascensions. and chandra's outrage. with goblin guides you could win by turn 3 even 4 almost every time.

chandra's outrage isn't a great card I prefer searing blaze. Pyromancer's Ascension is a great card but I want to win the game before that card is active. I like goblin guides, thanks for the suggestions!

This is beast. Anyone can put together tons of mythics/rares and man lands and call it a deck. I love stuff like this man. Inexpensive, mono-colored, deck maker tested and community approved. You are one skilled pyromancer.

Thanks! I completely agree that anyone can throw together the best cards in the game and call it a deck. The funny thing, is those kind of decks aren't always good! I like to make cheap decks that have a lot of chemistry and are fun to play, just like this one.

Fantastic deck for those on a budget. It never gets boring to see one of these beating a $300 "all singing, all dancing" deck! Good job! :)

Add 4x Fire Servant, Effect of Quest for Pure Flame but all the time because they're creatures and they stack so if you have four on the field, it's the damage dealt doubled 4 times and then doubled again for any Quest for Pure Flames you have

This deck is sick! I would definitely not recommend the 4x fire servants, they will slow you down due to the high cmc

Yeah, MAYBE add one or two, but not four. I wouldn't even know what to take out for them, anyway. Also, Assault Strobe for your kiln fiends/spitfires, and maybe Smoldering Spires too, b/c if you add in assault strobes, that's less burn, so you might need to make one creature not block.

Turn 1, mountain, bolt - 3 dmg
turn 2, kiln fiend
turn 3, bolt a blocker, burst lightning another, assault strobe your kiln fiend, swing for 20 dmg :D

That strategy will die to another red deck when your 10/2 double strike kiln fiend gets bolted. A control deck MIGHT be able to counter the assault strobe, but if not you got em.

or doom blade, condemn, urge to feed... anything can easily remove a creature i made a similar deck and that is the only problem that everyone faces in the game

Also, aren't flings kind of counter-active for kiln fiends and spitfires? I'd say take out the flings and 1 staggershock for the assault strobes. Nevermind the smoldering spires though, they'd just slow the deck down i think.

Love this deck! I bought this cards from Finland (live there) for 17,20€. I make little changes: I take out 3 Flings and 3x Reverberate and added 4x Assault Strobe and 2x mountains. But love this deck thank you!

i love ultra-cheap mono-red decks!!! this is my take on cheap Red Deck Wins: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=108729 still in playtesting but i'm hoping it does well at my local FNM this week! i only had about 28 of these cards, and i only paid $15 for the rest!

I like it overall but I think the Quest is totally worthless. It won't be active until it hardly matters. I would definitely add some basilisk collar to the sideboard for heavy creature decks with your sparkmages. Beyond that, in the sideboard I'd look at also having Mark of Mutiny against Primeval decks and add 4 teetering peaks to the main. They're basically like playing another burst lightning on the opponent at worst but if you can steal a primeval titan, you can easily attack for 11 or more trampling damage with Mark of Mutiny!

You need to check out the article on Transformational Sideboards on magic: the gathering.com Because as soon as game 1 is over, your opponenet is going to sideboard in a TON of creature removal. So, make a Pyromancers Ascension sideboard, and then sideboard in ALL 15 of your sideboard cards. It will make your deck unstoppable, even against control decks.

Good work man!

Since they do sideboard in removal that is why fling is so nice. if they are going to remove Kiln or Spitfire during an attack, why not fling them? If they dont remove them... your flinging for double damage if you like, hopefully for lethal... I like the idea of fling. Maybe take out one and run 2x if anything...

Nice. I like this deck, have one very similar. I made this deck and subbed the quests out for 4 ball lightnings. And i updated your Cunning Sparkmage to Prodigal Pyromancer, its the same everything just different sets
