Deck Description

The deck has worked pretty well so far, it revolves mostly around attacking with one unblockable creature to do a lot of damage. It could use some defense, but I don't really know what to use. Help would be really appreciated.

Deck discussion for Bant Exalted Deck, Suggestions Please

Well, it is a really good Bant deck, if I've ever seen one. Clarion Ultimatums, Bant Charms, Sigils of Distinction and Obelisks of Bant are generally pretty common parts of a classic Bant deck, and certainly more useful than a stupid Borderpost (really, they're not very good). Ziggurats are a very, very nice touch, and after this, I'm gonna add some to my decks. You might want a Bant Panorama or two, but that's totally at your own discretion. Though it's not normally put in a Bant deck (more of a Naya thing), if you're struggling with mana, don't hesitate to stick a Keeper of Progenitus in there, too. Just remember it helps everyone, not just you. Don't really understand the Bubble, but whatever. A Sigil of the Empty Throne wouldn't hurt either. Get in an Elspeth or some such as well.

But most importantly of all: Ardent Plea and Dauntless Escort.

Classic Bant cards. Take them if you want to, and drop that stupid bubble. But your choice.

Check out my decks. Currently, I only have the Eternity and Ambition.

Thanks for the feedback. I was actually thinking about taking out the borderposts because i don't really get much out of them. The cards you suggested, especially sigil of the empty throne look real good and I would for sure add them if I could only get my hands on them. The protective bubble is in there to give my attackers unblockability which when coupled with exalted and lifelink from a battlegrace angel is really boss. I guess the main point is to get a bunch of guys out quick, and then beef one up in a flash and make him unblockable and then attack. Usually it works really well. Thanks for the ideas.

Try putting in some noble hierarchs, rifiq of the many, and some dual lands. I used to have the empyrical archangel and the herald but seriously are you going to get it out in heads up tourney match? I never did, so I replaced it in my own bant deck. The stoic is a nice addition but I tried not to stray from the exalted ability or at least the untapped creature power of the knotvine. Also take a look at the knight of new alara with all the multi-color. Ajani is great as well. he replaces the stoic and give permanent 1/1 counters plus vigiliance. Allowing for lots of blockers. I added fogs to mine as well. They came in handy versus a time sieve deck a few times and the rightenous is a good surprise for one mana. Mark of asylum could help as well. Take a look at my bant deck. I put it up today it may help you. I think you are of to a good start. Stick with the theme and get rid of the non-exalted creatures. Just think with finest hour and rafiq you can deal four times the exalted power in one turn. That is huge when the opponent may not have flyers to go up against a battlegrace or aven. Plus you can gain the life!
