I'm building a serpent/leviathan deck, and I find that energy tap helps a lot in these decks.

Looks good, I thought about turning my fresh meat deck into R/G but after playing a couple of games with the beastmaster ascensions and awakening zones, there's no way they're leaving the deck (http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=225988). You should really think about putting at least beastmaster ascension in there. With spawns you can usually bring out 7 creatures quickly. And with BA, the trick really is to drop it only when you have 7 creatures on the field for a surprise 35 damage attack. On BA, it states that you put counters when a creature you control attacks, so that's before damage. Booyah!
I see, hadn't thought of the trample, makes more snese then.
The khalni gardens and dryad arbord are some surprise weenies that quickly become 5/5 or 6/6. They're also good fodder to skullclamps. I know though, skullclamp is kinda dishonest.
It actually happened two times, I kinda had god hands though. 1st turn Joraga, khalni garden, 2nd turn awakening zone, joraga level up, 3rd turn kozilek predator. You already have 6 creatures in play. 4th turn whatever, (beastmaster ascension and llanowar for example). and fifth turn beastmaster ascension, triumph of the hordes, attack. So that's 8 creatures, two beastmaster's ascension and triumph, that's around 90 infect damage.
Those Bramblewood Paragon are a bit iffy I think. You don't have enough warrior types to use them I say. How about you replace them by some of those creatures that distribute counters to other creatures, that could be interesting! If I'm not mistaken, modular is the ability I'm talking about
I'm especially interested in suggestions and opinions on the mana ramp and mana base
I know there's too many cards in there. I don't know what to remove really. I feel I might have too many enchantments, maybe the library of leng isn't all that useful... Comments welcomed on this issue.
I know there are too many cards in this deck, I can't really decide what I should remove. Probably one or two fatties I suppose. I also think I have too many cards to discard, maybe I could do without the sickening dreams.
