Deck Description

This deck quickly creates a large number of attackers using Galvanizer and Splinter Twin, or uses Galvanizer with the rest of the myr to super-charge Battlespheres. Fling and Perilous Myr provide burn, and Ironworks + Banefire is a strong finisher. Very reliable as a straight aggro deck when used this way.

It also has several "unlimited" combos built-in, all centering on a Galvanizer with Splinter Twin (two Galvanizers also works in some cases.) While it does not rely on hitting these combos, they occur (especially the first one) often enough that I keep Superion on the sideboard in favour of mainboard Palladium/Perilous.

Sideboard is mostly Furnace Dragon for mirror-matches and Protean Hydra for untargetable opponents (Ivory Mask, Standard Bearer, etc) with Myr Resevoir and Stream of Life to assist in prolonged matches.

Combos:
- Galvanizer + Splinter Twin + mana-myr = unlimited creatures of unlimited power for attack/Fling.
- Above + Battlesphere = unlimited Battlesphere pump.
- Galvanizer + Splinter Twin + two mana-myr OR Palladium OR Ironworks = unlimited mana.
- Perilous + Splinter Twin = free Shock each end step. With any of the above = unlimited free Shocks.
- Etc.

Obvious weekness is loss of all Galvanizers, but I haven't had any real trouble with this.

Deck discussion for Myr-Fire

A friend of mine recently challenged me to build a series of decks. We were discussing color splashing and I said (as I am sure many will agree) that green is the easiest color for splashing as it splashes well and naturally with any other color.

So he challenged me to do a "Green And" series. I have 24 hours to build a deck that is "Green And" each color, to demonstrate my premise. The Judges (our other friends) later ruled that this includes "Green And Green." In addition, I have to have at least one each of Tribal, Aggro, Control, Combo and Creatureless (though these are permitted to overlap), to demonstrate versatility.

This one covers green-and-red, tribal, and aggro.

Once I have them all posted, I will post the links in another comment. I hope you will look at and comment on each!
