Working on my Zombie grave deck for a long time. As I became aware of dedgewine I combined both, giving them a new twist...1 Stinkweed Imp could be a Golgari Grave-Troll but I dont want the deck to appear not legal in Modern...I concidered many cards, to keep track of them I listed them here:http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/dredge-other-options/
Both are big dredge-creatures who tutor the graveyard.Bloodghast, Gravecrawler, Squee and Vengevine all want to resurrect from there. As all those creature should not be in hand Fauna Shaman is the perfect deck search engine.A good 3 mana combo is: summon Lotleth Troll, discard Vengevine and Gravecrawler, summon him for {b} and get both back. Grisly Salvage starts the milling and gets me what I need.Abrupt Decay is to good, not to run in early game.I found myself dredging other spells way to often to run other non-flashback cards.

Hmm, First of all I really like the originality and the fresh approach. It is pretty hard to properly judge a deck like this without playing it.I really like the phoenix, I wish it was a cast though.I think Vengeful Pharaoh is unnecessary, I don't think the value it gives or the wall it provides is something you need, gnaw to the bone is better imo.The squee synergy seems amazing! I Really love it! And cuz you are running Fauna Shaman I think some silver bullet creatures could work.
