This deck is a combo deck with lots of low mana creatures and reborn effects. Most of your creatures cost two mana so Æther Vial has multiple ways to start your explosive game play. In addition the're many combos in this deck, but i will explain the most important ones. At first Plagued Rusalka is the key card and in combination with Nether Traitor, Bloodghast or even Strangleroot Geist it is easy to reduce the opponent´s creature strength thanks to their graveyard abilities. With the help of Grisly Salvage you can search important key cards and mill rebornable creatures for their immediate return. A similar effect can be created through Skirk Ridge Exhumer ,even though he sadly is a non-spirit card. You can discard unwanted hand cards or some “undead” spirits for tokens, which synergize really well with Plagued Rusalka. The late game finisher is Devouring Greed. By sacrificing most of your creatures you can end the game in an instant (or rather sorcery). The Adaptive Automaton makes your spirits stronger but in rare cases you could use it for your zombies too.
Long story short, try to out-trade the opponent by sacrificing your graveyard spirits. Your advantage is a fast start. At best you start with Æther Vial or Plagued Rusalka in turn one. Use the smartest combination to ruin the opponents strategy. If you have trouble against large creature waves use Damnation (Drown in Sorrow’s big brother ; ) but I’m not sure if Drown in Sorrow would fit the gap better - what do you think ?Most of your creatures will come back and they have haste for a good attack after your revive-combo.Truth be told, this deck has trouble against strong creatures or other combo decks and a lot of your weak creatures can’t block but it’s flexible and can fight through a varieties of combinations and for me it is fun to play with.Hope you enjoyed the review ; p
