... But it's close! This deck was originally inspired by vigilantlegacy's budget version ( http://www.mtgvault.com/vigilantlegacy/decks/esper-enchantments/ ).
The deck is a bit slower than Bant'chantments (No real mana ramp from green), but is designed to have a similar feel (everything in the deck will potentially end up with hexproof and hopefully some form of evasion). Ajani's included for surprise Double Strike for lethal, with just enough loyalty left to provide counters if he doesn't die on your opponent's turn. Forgoing green gives access to better protection in the sideboard (Skeletal Grimace for board sweepers/protection to your things without Hexproof, Orzhov Charm and Beckon Apparition to protect from Sacrifice effects [a la the better Lilianna, Denounce the Guilds, etc.]). Blind Obedience is swapped in against aggro as needed, and Nevermore/Pithing Needle is brought in against Walkers and/or problem creatures (Aetherling, Olivia, etc.)

I love auras. and I love esper. This is pretty cool.

What about Sphere of Defense?
I'm... not so big on Sphere of Safety. I mean, it's not a bad card, but it's a five-drop and in a deck with no mana ramp and only 22 lands it's going to be difficult to cast it. If anything, I'd consider something like Detention Sphere or Blind Obedience against an Aggro deck.
Blind Obedience is awesome. Dentention Sphere is also good. I woul surely ditch Dead Weight for something else. Isn't there a 1 mana enchantment that gives -x/-x where x = # of creatures in controllers graveyard.
dead weight is pretty good in the current metagame. it deals well with indestructible creatures, it handles aristocrat without her being able to regen, it takes the edge off things like Thragtusk. I like it. it will be in my esper auras deck after cycle.
I really like your adaptation of this deck. If I had the money to splurge on Geist of Saint Traft, (and nonbasic lands) I would definitely put this together.
Thanks! The only reason I'm running a lot of the cards at all is because I managed to get decent trade stock at some point through drafting and the like.

I actually ran a similar version of esper hexproof a few weeks ago at an FNM and placed 2nd to Naya Blitz , but I ran Ajani over sorin for the out of nowhere double strike flying , and Blind Obedience just didn't see either of the 2 I main board against the blitz deck rofl go figure... , My creature base is the same except I do run ONE Obzedat for shits and giggles , my enchantment setup was a bit different though, 4 Predators Gambit, 2 Favorable Winds, 2 Blind Obedience, 4 Ethereal Armor, 4 Gift of Orzhova, 4 Spectral flight, 2 Call to Serve. My friends told me to cut the Favorable Winds , until they saw how much work it put in with a Geist Suited up with Spectral flight and Ethereal.. 8/8 Geist, 5/5 angel ? lol
I actually kind of forgot about Predator's Gambit for a while, thanks for reminding me. The fact that it's Unholy Strength with potential evasiveness is kind of relevant.
how about drogskol reaver?
