Get a Pack Rat in play and make him stick. He soon becomes an army that can overrun and opponent
Try to start the game with 2 mana and start playing one drop creatures and discard spells. Kill as many of your opponents creatures as possible - simple right. When a Pack Rat has a good chance of staying on the field , play him and go to town. You should have enough mana available to make 1 or 2 copies the next turn or better yet on the turn he comes out. Use fog, regeneration, or growth spells to keep him alive. The copies soon get very big and your enchantments speed you on your way. Sign in Blood can be used to make 2 copies a turn, or 4 with Parallel Lives out. I always liked Relentless Rats as a card and this is a sort of Standard version. Proliferate and have fun beating face. The deck can be explosive but gets bogged down at times. It will win 35/40 % of its games against top decks but is a powerhouse in most casual settings.

^ I second the inclusion of slum lord I was about to post the same thing
good suggestion - did not have one on hand when i originally built the deck
Sadly I don't have much experience with Standard decks, but from what I can tell and the little knowledge I have, you could benefit from 'Murder' as a swiss-army Tool, both aggressively killing your own pets or for defense. If I played standard this is what I'd play - G/B FTW and a round of applause, good job man =)
Thanks for your comments. Murder is fine but I use Liliana which also draws some heat off my life total because most opponents will go at her first.
Apart for the Slum Lord, which could be fun in a deck like this, I think this would be a curious deck. I'm only unsure if a 1x Fog is enough.
I don't usually sideboard in Fog that often. Use the elimination spells to keep the pressure off. The main problem with the deck is drawing consistantly a good mix of cards - land glut or famine every so often. When the deck gets a good mix it usually beats face. Thanks for taking a look, as I am a big fan or Rat decks and have a legacy build ( Around Balthor the Defiled), a modern deck so-so, and a Relentless Rats EDH that catches many decks by surprise with its speed.
Your Relentless Rats is amazing, I looked at it! ;)
