This deck could also be titled as "Soul Sisters with Pets" as it is Cats plus lifegain. It is a casual deck that often slides under the threat radar as long as Kemba is not too large. Everyone usually thinks your playing straight voltron or possibly going wide with tokens, but you have the alternate win conditions of Aetherflux Reservoir and Felidar Sovereign to appear as must answer threats. Kemba is an easy commander to play, budget friendly , and not as weak as a mono-white deck usually performs. It is a remake of a Kemba voltron deck I made about five years ago when I first started building EDH decks. Enjoy......
The deck plays out in a simple straightforward manner. Play your cats and lifegain cards to build a board state. Do not overextend unless you have some protection for Kemba. Diversionary Tactics and Cradle of Vitality early will really help you set up. Attack often , but you can sit back and wait for an Alpha strike opportunity if there are other aggro players in the group. You have Well of Lost Drams, Venser's Journal and Words of Worship to draw you a ton of cards or gain a ton of life. I will be trying various builds of the deck to find the right mix. You can reinforce lifegain, go-wide or even add Extort strategies to the deck. I will be playing the deck to see if I need more hatebear cards, but so far the deck has played strong in casual matches. Enjoy.....
