Golgari Pump up that has been tweeked through play. Lotleth Troll pumped up, Essence Harvest to finish them off. This deck has been modified for DGM. Pay no attention to the R tag, it's just from the Breaking//Entering. You would only ever use that card for the mill 8.
Varolz adds a ton a versatility to standard Golgari counter decks. In this case, you mill your opponent to pump Wight, use Jarad's to pick Varolz and send Consuming Aberration into the GY for a massive scavenge onto Lotleth.Plus, splashing blue adds a little more control without just depending on strait black removal.Slitherhead never get played, adds +2/+2 to Lotleth Troll. Keep a swamp untapped for regen on troll and swing away. Essence Harvest to finsh them off.Wreath and two Salvage can be subbed in against mill decks. Anti enchantment/artifact in there as well. Almost have it rebuild for FNM in two weeks.

This might be the most fun-looking Varolz deck I've seen on this sight! Good job!

Thanks, a lot of the recent Varolz decks are cookie cutter builds. I think casual decks are always more fun when the opponent doesn't know exactly what's coming.
I'd like to see a few more mill cards in there but I don't know what you would take out...? You almost need to Jarad's orderd both Consuming Abberations so that you can mill more effectively but at 5 mana, that's really late game.
Yea, the deck really needs something I can chump block with and then cast from the GY again....if only there was 4 of some black zombie creature that had that exact ability....humm.......Gravecrawler not being able to block makes me sad.
