Deck discussion for uw budget blade

Looks pretty effective I just have a few suggestions.

- 2 Niblis of the Urn
- 2 Stormbound Geist (they can only block fliers)
- 1 Honor of the Pure
- 1 Dragskol Captain
+ 2 Niblis of the Breath (one blue, tap, then you can tap OR untap any creature)
+ 2 Invisible Stalker (wrecks face with trepanation blades)
+ 2 Artful Dodge (one blue to make a creature unblockable, flashbackable for one blue)

i like your advice about adding niblis of the breath and invisible stalker but i don't think artful dodge would fit this deck very well. This deck is almost all flying and what isn't flying is unblockable or intimidate. Also the stormbound geists I think are under estimated. Your opponent doesn't want to kill the geist because if will turn into a 3/3 flyer possibly 4/4 hexproof if you have a drogskol captain out. So if you have a blade equipped to a stormbound geist it can be a potent mix.

Thats true about the Stormbound Geist's, I'm not saying they are a bad card by any means. I just feel they are an aggressive flier when basically all you need for the win condition here are the trepanation blades on your invisible stalkers or any other creature that can't be blocked (which is why I suggested a few artful dodge). Basically with artful dodge, it really doesnt matter who you put the blade on, its just going to end up in milling the opponents deck and dropping a heavy attack on them.

I see wat your saying. Another thought I had was putting in an undead alchemist combined with trepanation blade and either spectral flight or artful dodge then use that blue bounce card with a white flash back once u have a good amount of zombies?

Thats kind of deviating to a brand new kind of deck though. I would go with the stalker blade combo and base this deck around that.

If you were going to bring an Alchemist in with the blade, you would most likely have to re-vamp alot of this deck and just base it purely on zombies. And you won't necessarily have to bounce him out, you can still just mill your opponent down and basically they either find a way to deal with the alchemist and then lose to zombie horde, or dont deal with him and get milled lol.

This is my zombie deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=297661

Basically the intent is to just mass zombies and increase board presence and push offensively, like a horde of brainless zombies do ala horror type scenario. If the alchemist comes out, the game plan remains the same lol. If they get milled, they get milled. If not, oh well.

The beauty of Undead Alchemist is that he triggers a deck mill for ALL zombies you own, not just himself. Half the time I just keep him alive when he hits the table and sit back and let the tokens go to work and make more tokens.

I'm not saying he wouldn't work in your deck, but he just seems more of a zombie hoarding type guy =P.
