Main Deck (20 cards)

Sideboard (20 cards)

Land (8)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Mini Magic is a MTG format that (for mine and my brother (Archenemy980)'s version) you use a 20 card deck and have 10 life and you try to win a mini duel.

The rules are:

20 card decks (both min and max) and with an optional sideboard of 5 cards (either 5 or none)
Have a starting life total of 10 life
Have a starting hand of 3 cards and have of max hand size of 7 cards (Still tweaking on this)
Normal Mulligan Rule(s) apply (discard 1 card plus a card for each previous mulligan)
Only if you have either no land or all lands in your hand: you can get a free mulligan. You can only use this 3 times then otherwise you mulligan normally
No rarity limitations
Maximum of 2 of a single card in a deck

I hope you guys like this one. The format is obviously able to expand, so try to in the comments. I hope you guys like this!

My sideboard cards also is a deck. I hope you guys enjoy that one as well!

That free mulligan rule is really helpful

Interesting. I could imagine mill being VERY good in a format like this.

Yep, It is one of the most supreme play styles in this format (For the sake of fair play, just don't use Mind Sculpt :) ).

Yeah you'd probably have to start a banlist if mill wins too consistently.

I am happy to say that I reached My goal with this deck (after noticing it's popularity) of 500 views! I am so happy and thanks for all of the comments on this deck! I really appreciate it. Thank you even more so for those who built their own decks bases off of mine and Archenemy980 thought process. So again, Thank you. :)

I like the idea, why not make it singleton though? Seems a good way to keep a low budget game.

Allowing for 2-ofs I think helps with consistency.

Yep, which some obviously want but making it singleton makes it a lot less likely you get Johnny combo breaker running away with the tiny deck size (since you've got 1/3 as many cards but can put 1/2 as many of the same card it's moderately more consistent than a 60 card format with 2 ofs).

You guys both pose good points. I am tempted, after reading both of your arguments, to make a list of cards you can have two of and the cards you can only have one of (unless for cards like Relentless Rats, which will only have these restrictions if specified).
