The World Eater has awoken.By suggestion of a 0CMC artifact creature construct and nearly every person I have shown this deck to IRL, I present the blueless hydra tribal.
How? Hope to have hasty hydras and huntmasters to hit the horrible haters... and more h words. hhhhhhhhhhhhh

NICELooks much faster with the mana elves and hasteJust a small tweak i'd rather get 4 elvish mystics and 2 arbor elfs just because arbor elf can sometimes be inconsistentI'm also not too sure on the huntmaster but it's personal choice i guessone last thing: try adding burning tree emissary

Funny, the version I made irl about 20 minutes ago runs 4 mystic 2 arbor, glad to know we're on the same pageHuntmaster is just a great play at any stage. On the defensive he's 2 blocks. On the offensive he's 8 damage after a battledriver. However, I will try replacing him with bte for a few test runs, thanks
I made some revisions. Moved huntmaster to the sideboard to increase the ghor clan rampager count and add lightning mauler. Thoughts?
Nice. Great deck again Gas. Since it's so creature heavy why not have a couple of Domris in there too? Gives you that early Planeswalker support and they will waste their removal on him instead of Garruk. The haste with Kalonian Hydra is just plain mean :) I love it. Ghor clan is wonderful. "I'm attacking with my 2/2 hydra." "Ok it's only 4 I'll take it" "Make it 12..." "....GG"
Thank you! I did heavily consider domri...what would you take out for him?
Either the 2 Arbor elves or a Battledriver and a Kalonian hydraThis is how I was always taught about the 1,2,3 or 4 card rule.4 if you want it opening hand or early game.3 if you will only need it once.2 if it is legendary or not an integral part of your battle plan, just a boon.1 if it is extremely situational.
Hm. I guess that makes sense, thanks. Ill be doing plenty of testing tonight then, domri has to go in somewhere.
I'm currently haggling between 2 sellers for 4 kalonian hydras. Worst case is I'll get them for $25US ea. Best case is Around $22US ea
That's not bad. I got 2 at $25 each and I was happy with it. Getting 2 more at $27 each on friday (probably free with trades) but even $27 isn't bad. He'll drop, but I'm not that patient :p definitely worth getting if you can get them at $22
Well I managed to crack 1 VoR, 2 for $34 ea and one for $40. So all up I paid an average of $27 each. Probably one of the better buys I've done. If I can get this guys to 23 - 24 each I'll be laughin... Except the only thing is the exchange rate is garbage which adds $10 to the final amount... All the sellers here in Australia are trying to push em for around the $40 mark.. Stupid idiots..
Most of the guys around here are pushing for $40 too. I finally found this little hole in the wall gaming store that goes by tcgplayer and amazon prices instead of starcity, thats where im getting semi decent deals. also, $3 booster packs! :p
Nice! The local I go to for FNM does good deals too. $5 per booster and $147.50 for a booster box (sadly that's cheap) Cheaper than my brother sells 'em to me as well.....
Oh wow. They're usually $4 over here, $100 for a box, I'm not sure what the unit conversion is...
Everything here is more expensive. How much do you pay for, say, a brand new release console game?
Usually $60, sometimes $50
woah $3/$5 boosters from aus where...
HAHA. For us, $110, sometimes $100 if we're lucky.... Market is COMPLETELY screwed... Even on Steam the prices are outta whack. Blatant price gouging happening here and nothing is being done about it....
Oh wow!!! That's insane... I don't think I'd ever buy new console games if that were the case. Are the prices on regular stuff like food and clothing and the like inflated too?
Yes but not as bad. Locally grown stuff is usually quite cheap. Meat, steak and the like is usually around $15 - $20 per kilo (bloody metric system, lol, a kilo is about 2.2 pounds). Electronics is the worst of it. If you're going out to eat, and you're gonna have say, an entree, main and a drink, probably about $40 - $50 per head.
Lol I actually prefer the metric system. But that's a totally different tangent :p but that's still about twice as expsive... even when you factor in the conversion (1 AUD = 0.9 USD?) its still a lot...
Yup.... Straya mate.... We have a 10% GST on everything except fresh produce, fresh meats and similar foods, and it's been circulating in the news that they now want to include that stuff in the tax too... Yay...ANYWAY. I haven't got my Sliver cards I ordered yet, so I went and improved on another deck I wanted to try. See what you think - http://www.mtgvault.com/bennyboy777/decks/im-not-even-going-to-attack/
Ok so I ended up getting 4 Kalonian Hydras for US$23.60 each so not bad.. About $26 each for me so not too shabby... I wanna get Archangel of Thune but she's a bit more crazy.... Maybe next month.... But Theros is close....
Nice, not bad at all! Better than my deal lol. I would honestly wait on archangel, her price won't hold. She'll settle around $15-20 I think.
Yeah I agree. She's really only good with lifegain or extort. She's a machine in Extort decks...
Ok, I have the list as it is finished. Think this is ready for game day?
Yeah looks good. Let me know how it goes.
Went 3-1-1 and made top 8. Dropped first round of top 8 though...I was paired against a friend, and I had to leave before the thing was over anyway. Wouldve felt bad knocking him out and then leaving, yknow?
