Thank you! Yeah youre right, the mage doesn't really do much, especially with growing ranks out...if I get something better than him, like more ranks or wayfaring temples, ill switch him out.

Thank you! Yeah wall of denial would be great, but this is standard :/ and the mana hasn't really been a problem, but if it becomes a problem, farseek it is.
Devils play for long games maybe?
Thank you! I actually used to run a playset of quirions in here, but I ended up taking them out when I put farseek in... I agree that theyre good early creatures, but against aggro theyre just chump blockers, and my instants are good enough stallers to get huntmaster or some other bomb out. But thanks for checking it out anyway, I appreciate every comment
Gavony is great too, but I cant help but love the vigilance from the virtue... Id honestly use both haha. and if you can swing those trades, definitely go for it. Sorin is excellent for this deck, and thragtusk has redefined the whole standard meta, id run 4 if I had the money or trade stuff. And no problem, I hope I helped :)
Hellkite is definitely better than Chandra if you have it. And maybe infernal plunge would help...sac arsonist for snipe on turn 2 and a dead mana dork?
With doomed traveler and lingering souls, intangible virtue would be nice. Also in the current meta, thragtusk, sorin, vraska, armada wurm, and angel of Serenity are often in decks like this, if youre willing to spend a bit for them. :) if youre still curious about the meta, im trying to make my deck 'huntmaster of nivix' competitive, maybe it can give you some ideas as to what to expect and prepare against. :)
Start off by taking out everything but the lands. Run tamiyo, jace, Liliana, ajani, 4 restos, 4 angel of serenity, 5 geist of saint traft, splash green for thragtusk and garruk, and splash red for pillar of flame and bonfire. Oh, and it needs snapcaster and storm crow. Other than that, it looks alright :p
Snapcaster definitely belongs here dont take him out...Maybe 3 snaps at the least. Definitely no magmaquakeor counterflux. Syncopate and dissipate are better. I highly recommend siding two negates against control, and brimstone volley might even become a finisher with snipes. Good luck!
If you start blanking on turn 4 without a four drop, huntmaster of the fells does so much.
maybe invisible stalker would help? :)
I know this is just extra draft cards, but if you have bloodfray giants, throw them in for sure.
Cyclonic rift might be better than fall of the gavel for long games. Counterspell for 5? Eh... Win for 7? Nothing wrong with that...And if the rift is too much mana, blustersquall works just as well if you're going to win that turn anyway.
Thatcher revolt is gonna work really well with the boros battalion cards. Its pretty much an automatic trigger, and battalion seems like a very strong mechanic that can be utilized very well. As of now, thatcher revolt even helps with odric and hellrider. Other than that, seems very powerful. :)
Pursuit of flight is excellent with frostburn weird. Also, this is just personal preference, but ive had more luck with syncopate than counterflux. :)
Jace works great with worldfire. -8 to fetch worldfire and any creature and you win
Curse of exhaustion is a nice control card, and a 6/11 palisade giant with an ethereal armor would be even harder to get around. oblivion ring is perfect for this deck. Oh, and azors elocutors would be a great win con.
This looks really good. The only cards that come to mind are intangible virtue for spirits angels and sorin, and desecration demon.
Interesting idea. Collective blessing could help make your zendikons more effective, maybe instead of curse of exhaustion?
Kessig wolf run maybe? You have lots of land fetch, kessig seems like something good to use all that land for
