I was about to propose turning this into a dark maverick with a couple of dark confidants and green sun's zenith, but I just thought of the level of failure that you'll have if you draw iona and lose 9 life for no bloody reason ^-^'! Nice deck overall, maybe the addition of another unburial rights, even though you have gifts ungiven would be nice. Were I your opponent, I'd add deathrite shammys, to get rid of your unburial rights while in the graveyard, or exile it somehow! so 1-2 more might save you ;)

Decks made for modern, so half the things you say arnt valid, green sun and Deathrite are banned.

Green sun is, true, I forgot that, but deathrite too? I didn't know that! I play modern too, but mostly with friends, I was not aware that shammy has been banned

If a scavenging ooze fall on the battlefield does the reanimator player make a sound? The argument is still valid that more than one copy of key cards is a great idea. Always have a backup plan.

Why aren't you running birthing pod? If you changed some creatures around you could make a utlity birthing pod deck with the gifts engine as an added bonus. Gifts birthing pod is amazing.

Deck looks great. Always been a huge fan of Gifts. The only thing your missing here is Academy Ruins and Engineered Explosives. You can use Gifts to grab (Life from the Loam, Ruins, and EE). It's a slow set up, but just another cool pile with Gifts in these mid-range gifts lists. Recurring EE can get annoying real quick.

Birthing Pod seems like a waste here as you can't actually take advantage of any of the combos Pod offers. I can't see any reason for playing a Pod in this deck.

I don't normally do this, but i would appreciate if you checked out my Modern Ritual Gifts deck. It plays Gifts in a control shell, but in a very different way than yours; to set up a storm combo.
