Oh god how I wish I could also imprint 2 mana sorceries...EDIT: Am I the only one a little freaked out by the artwork of Thought Scour?EDIT #2: I can't suggest too much for this to be honest. Mayhaps some fetchlands to boost the milling from Hedron Crab?
Check my deck out, i made a Mill Deck with alot more Mill in it . Your deck seems alright , but im sure you could tweek it a bit to make it faster at milling .http://www.mtgvault.com/ely/decks/ultimate-mill-deck/
Like this deck, seems it would play very fast for a mill mechanic :) couple of changes though...Broken Ambitions isn't the best, Induce Paranoia fills the mana curve and is a more guaranteed mill for 4 mana.Don't see the point in Creeping Tar Pit - Would go for Terramorphic Expanse/Evolving Winds to run off the Crab, and Ghost Quarter works really well with Archive Trap, destroying target lands and making opponent search their library for a replacement.Apart from that awesome modern mill deck !Check out my alternate combo mill deck and my others too - http://www.mtgvault.com/buzzgsc/decks/fast-mill-ub-2/
@buzz-gsc: Thanks for pointing out "Induce Paranoia", but I'd prefer something with a small cmc. I'll give a try in playtesting though. Ghost Quarter however should work nicely, both for the Crab (Ghost Quartering myself) or for enabling Archive Trap, which I promptly bumped up to 4.@Ely: I'd wager my deck is still faster than your more creature-based approach. I took some ideas from it, though.@AlleywayJack: Thanks, I misunderstood the card. First time using it.Thanks for the great input, guys.
Your deck looks good now Gallifreyan, one thing you might considering is adding Stern Mentor in there to soulbond it with Crab, making twice the Milling. Also making a Sideboard with Sewer Nemesis would give you an advantage in other type of Decks.Beside that, it looks great . And i would love you put a wager on a Mill vs Mill Battle. I think we both have a good chance, its all about what you'r gettin in your first hand.
oh snap. this is actually looking like a pretty mean mill deck now ^_^
